The New World Order – where history and prophecy collide

Published

on

Tower of Babel, ancient counterpart to the United Nations. The first globalist or one-world government. They, too, used "together" as a deceptive euphemism. This did not impress God. Collectivism is no substitute for worship. In politics, America must stand for Pittsburgh, not Paris, and certainly not Babylon, ancient or modern.

Whether you are someone who attends church on a regular basis or you are completely agnostic, chances are that somewhere along the line you have heard about the Tower of Babel. You can read about it in the Book of Genesis, Chapter 11.

The building of the Tower of Babel commenced after the period of the Flood of Noah at a time when mankind worshiped their achievements rather than worshiping God. This is a historical account that gives us insight to human behavior and its lust to exalt itself above God and turn away from God. These are traits we first read about in the Garden of Eden and then again in Genesis 11. It is interesting to note that Chapter 11:4b states that their objective in building the Tower of Babel was to make a name for themselves and to avoid being scattered over the whole earth. This article will discuss the many symbolic comparisons between the United Nation’s Agenda 21 and the Tower of Babel; one is Agenda 21’s goals to herd all humans into housing clusters in designated zones.

Babel v. Babylon

In the Genesis 11 we are told that at the time of Babel the people are one (united) with one language. They used that unity to glorify themselves. This displeased God, who destroyed their unity by confusing their language and spreading them over the whole earth.

Genesis 11 isn’t the only biblical account of a one world government gone awry. Daniel 7:23 prophesies:

The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces.

Prophecies in Revelation 17 give us more information. There we are told of a “great harlot” who sits on many waters. Revelation 17:15 defines “many waters” this way:

… The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

In the Book of Hosea, the Bible symbolically defines an apostate Israel as a harlot, or one who is unfaithful, and by extension an unfaithful government or nation. In the case of the harlot in Revelation, the unfaithful government would be comprised of a many peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues – or a worldwide governmental system.

The capital: not in Rome

Headquarters of the New World Order? It looks like the Tower of Babel.

Furthermore, Revelation 17:5 states that the harlot rides on a beast with seven heads and ten horns. The seven heads are commonly thought to represent the Seven Hills of Rome, but in light of the text there might be a better explanation.

Revelation tells us that this harlot rides a Beast that came out of the many waters, which represents many nations. Therefore, when we consider that this Beast has 10 horns, or 10 kings, it is unlikely that Rome will have 10 kings at the same time.

So what can the seven heads be referring to if not Rome? It can be the European Union, as some believe. Another explanation would be that the seven hills refer to our seven continents.

Ten kings

What about the 10 horns being 10 kings or men of great power? We can reinforce this with Daniel 7:11, which states: “I watched then because of the pompous words that the horn was speaking.” Since only people speak, it is logical to conclude that if the little horn is a man, then the other horns must a person as well. So far we can assert that in Genesis, Babylon was a one world government; that biblically a harlot represents an unfaithful nation; that many waters represent many nations; and that a horn represents a human being.

The great mystery

Regarding the harlot in Revelation 17:5, the Bible states:

And on her forehead a name was written: Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and the Abominations of the Earth.

According to Nelson’s Illustrated Bible Dictionary, the biblical definition of a “Mystery” is the hidden, eternal plan of God that is being revealed to God’s people in accordance with His plan. In the Old Testament, mystery occurs only in the Aramaic sections of Daniel (Dan 2:18, 27-30, 47; 4:9) and in the New Testament, mystery refers to a secret that is revealed by God to His servants through His Spirit – or as such, it is an “open secret.”

Therefore, because Babylon is a “mystery”, in the Revelation verse it is not the physical location of Babylon, which has been clearly known throughout history as modern day Iraq. Since the context of the verse strongly speaks about a one world government, it would be logical to interpret this verse to mean that “mystery” Babylon would most likely be a one world government similar to the one established in Genesis. Mystery Babylon may have been a secret yet to be revealed when John wrote Revelation, but today we are seeing that mystery unfold before our very eyes through UN Agenda 21, and it is disturbing that so few people recognize the fulfillment of this prophecy.

The argument that Mystery Babylon is a one world government becomes stronger when one considers the characteristics of the Genesis Babylon and the Revelation Mystery Babylon as both being apostate one world governments that snub their nose at God. This is reinforced in Revelation 17:17-18 that speak about this entity as being of one mind and reigning over the kings of the earth.

The two characteristics of apostasy are:

  1. There has to be a falling away from God; and
  2. Unfaithfulness results.

It is not a coincidence that 2 Thessalonians 2:3 speaks about an apostate time prior to the return of Christ. Simply put, harlots in the Bible represent unfaithful nations, and in these prophecies these nations would also be a one world government – or a New World Order, as President George H.W. Bush called it.

How close are we to becoming part of a New World Order?

Mikhail Gorbachev stated in his historic address to the United Nations on December 7, 1988:

Further global progress is now possible only through a quest for universal consensus in the movement towards a new world order.

President George H.W. Bush, at his summit meeting in September 1990 with Soviet President Gorbachev, said:

The foundation for the new world order will be laid in Helsinki.

He went on to say that it would be established under the United Nations.

In 1991, David Rockefeller stated in Baden-Baden:

We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.

In September 1994, David Rockefeller said,

We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the new world order.

In light of all the prophecies regarding the New World Order, some believe we should just roll with the punches and accept what we cannot change. However, if we seek the heart of God, those things that displease Him should displease us as well. That is not within the scope of this article, which is to point out the biblical prophecies of a one world government and where we currently stand in history regarding that government.

To find out more about how this New World Order is being forged under our very noses, please read our articles about Agenda 21, as well as all the other materials you can find. Shortly, The NJ TEA Party Caucus will be making an informative presentation available on its website: www.NJTEAPartyCaucus.com. Common buzz words for Agenda 21 are Sustainable Development. Here in New Jersey that translates to Sustainable Jersey.

Conclusion

Please consider the following verses:

Revelation 4:4:

And another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another, and there was given to him a great sword.

Ezekiel 33:2b-6:

…When I bring the sword upon the land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.

So, the final three questions that only you and God can answer…

  1. Are you one of God’s watchman, and if so…
  2. Will you blow the trumpet to warn the people, or
  3. Will God be requiring their blood at your hands?

May God bless you and may God continue to bless America.
