Government-run schools – exchanging the 3 R’s for the 3 E’s
In the recent past parents expected to send their children to government-run schools to learn the 3 R’s: reading, ‘riting, and ‘rithmetic. But these schools have eroded the once enviable American educational system through a series of progressive initiatives – all under the pretense of elevating our culture into a caring and compassionate society. In the process our children have been indoctrinated instead of educated, and eroticized instead of prepared to function in the world that awaits them. Hedonism now triumphs over common sense. Likewise, secularism replaces the standard of good and evil that equipped us to self-govern and consequently live as good neighbors.
The self-indulgent “me” culture turns neighbors into strangers. And it replaces the “golden rule” with self-righteous covetousness. The entitlement culture that now rules can easily justify the confiscation of the fruits of someone else’s labors as rightfully belonging to them. To be fair, government-run schools are not solely responsible for the entitlement culture reaching critical mass; there is enough blame to go around. However, they would never have been able to effectuate these changes without parental abdication and the “political correctness” exercised in churches throughout this nation – not to mention the wimps in Congress and the ideologues that uphold anything but constitutional muster in our courts.
The Three E’s of government schools
Here are the 3 E’s of education that have prevailed as we ostriches have permitted:
Evangelism
Evangelism – a term traditionally used by the religious sector to promote their beliefs, this term can be aptly applied to the ideologues of today that promote their liberal agendas in our schools. These progressive Mad Hatters have turned the world upside down using our own sense of compassion to enslave us. Their religion is that of secular hedonism (often erroneously referred to as secular humanism), which relies on eroticism and ill-fated dreams of Utopia that have historically resulted in totalitarianism. These modern-day progressive evangelicals have also turned children against parents and women against men – elevating self-aggrandizement over sacrificial love and self-righteousness over traditional standards of right and wrong.
What are the tools these evangelists use? They eroticize our children and play upon a child’s natural criticism of their parent’s intellect. The teacher and the government curriculum become the ultimate standard of right and wrong, while objecting parents are perceived to be unsophisticated fools. These entities skillfully convince the students that they (the children) have the “right” to govern their own lives, regardless of the will of their parents and regardless of not having the proper tools to do so. The old adage of “the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world” should be replaced with “the hand that gives away stuff rules government.” When parents try to instill values in their children, they have to fight against ideologies that have been ingrained in the child’s psyche since they first crossed the threshold of their government-run school.
Evangelists in Christendom have long believed in “equipping the saints” to be strong and able to overcome the hardships of life and crisis of faith. They historically encouraged all to be “Bereans,” which were people who checked out the theologies being presented to them. The modern-day evangelists equip robots that are only able to march lockstep and not able or willing to question anything that is not politically correct. Johnny may not be able to read by the time he graduates high school but he sure knows how to make himself feel good about it.
Elimination
Elimination – eliminating patriotism and the true ideals of the American Revolution, which includes re-writing our history and vilifying heroism are the hallmark of today’s government-run schools. They eliminate faith-based living by censoring scientific creationism and elevating evolution beyond logical parameters – teaching children that people of faith are archaic ideologues who cling to Bible stories when the facts teach something else. Then they go one step further – they ridicule any student that dares question their teachings. In truth it is they themselves that are the ideologues that should be questioned. They also eliminate the idea of American Exceptionalism and hide the realities of socialism and all the other “isms” that exist. Eliminating what life without liberty really looks like and the nobleness of the American Experiment is a goal they have been allowed to reach.
Expansion
Expansion – of liberalism and the entitlement mentality that subtly enslaves its trusting victims. Expanding entitlements encourages dependency and excoriates independence and hope by elevating collectivism and eliminating individualism and personal liberty. This produces government dependence and eradicates ambition, the driving force behind prosperity, which in turn makes the populace more dependent.
And finally, their expansion includes promotion of the New World Order using the United Nations as a tool. They never teach that this expansion of globalism will eliminate our national sovereignty, including our protected rights, which will subject us to servitude to the political monsters of totalitarian governments.
Can we stop them?
How do we stop the Era of the E’s? By re-establishing the 3 R’s and expanding them to 4 by including the “R” of righteousness…and…by taking your children out of the government-run school system as soon as humanly possible.
