A newly surfaced video shows Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) threatening to “punch out” Donald Trump, should he arrive at The Capitol.

The video, obtained by CNN, was filmed on January 6, 2021, by documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, the daughter of Nancy Pelosi. Alexandra was doing a documentary on her mother’s actions during the riots.

“I hope he comes; I’m going to punch him out,” Pelosi says to her Chief of Staff Terri McCullough, who attempts to calm down Pelosi. “I’ve been waiting for this, for trespassing on the Capitol grounds. I’m going to punch him out.”

She added, “I’m going to go to jail, and I’m going to be happy.”

The rest of the footage largely shows Pelosi along with other congressional leaders making phone calls and then-Vice President Mike Pence attempting to call National Guard troops to the Capitol and trying to ascertain when Congress could reconvene and certify the election results.

Pence spoke to Pelosi at about 6pm. Pence was at a Capitol loading dock, heavily protected by Secret Service when he told Pelosi that anticipated Congress being able to start again in one hour.

Pelosi and Pence had been in regular contact for 90 minutes during the riots and as they started to simmer down. “I worry about you being in that Capitol room,” she told Pence in a call at about 4:20 p.m. “Don’t let anybody know where you are.”

Pence and Pelosi were number 2nd and 3rd in line for the Presidency at that juncture.
