Texas Gov. Abbott criticized for busing migrants to VP Harris’ home, dropping them off in freezing weather
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has responded to criticism after sending several busloads of migrants to the home of Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in Washington, D.C.
Most of the criticism was due to the migrants being dropped off in 18-degree weather, as well as it being Christmas Eve. The White House responded to the incident, calling it a “dangerous and shameful stunt,” according to Fox News.
Abbott responded to the harsh words, with his spokesperson Renae Eze calling President Biden the “Hypocrite-in-Chief.”
“These migrants willingly chose to go to Washington, D.C., having signed a voluntary consent waiver available in multiple languages upon boarding that they agreed on the destination,” Eze told Fox News Digital. “And they were processed and released by the federal government, who are dumping them at historic levels in Texas border towns like El Paso, which recently declared a state of emergency because of the Biden-made crisis.”
According to CNN, reporters on the ground saw some of the arriving migrants being dropped off while wearing nothing but T-shirts, though most pictures of the migrants exiting the buses show them in winter coats.
The migrant arrival was not unexpected however. Amy Fischer, a volunteer with the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network, said the organization was notified of the migrants arrival ahead of time after being informed about it by an NGO in Texas.
Of the migrants on the buses, Fischer said most came from Ecuador, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Peru and Colombia. She added that the buses were originally scheduled to be sent to New York but were forced to dock in D.C. due to the sudden winter storm.
“The DC community has been welcoming buses from Texas anytime they’ve come since April. Christmas Eve and freezing cold weather is no different,” Fischer said, adding that they are “always here welcoming folks with open arms.”

The first thing to remember is that illegal aliens are invaders. And if Mr Obama, Mr Biden, and Mrs Harris, as well as the other “Left”ist, had not created the circumstances that have led to the invasion we would not have this problem. Also, no child born to illegal alien parents in the US is a US citizen. Amendment 14 requires the parents to have fealty to the US and illegal aliens, visitors, diplomats, migrant workers, etc., do NOT have fealty to the US. In fact, until 1924 most Native American Indians were not US citizens. There are no such thing or people as “anchor babies”.
