As someone who has stood shoulder to shoulder with Pam during her tenure as Florida’s Attorney General, I can say without hesitation that she is the ideal person for the job. Her steadfast commitment to the rule of law, proven leadership, and personal integrity make her the perfect choice to lead the Department of Justice at a critical time for our nation.

Pam Bondi knows how to fight

Pam Bondi is no stranger to tough fights. During her time as Florida’s Attorney General, she built a legacy of tackling some of the nation’s most pressing challenges head-on. Whether leading the charge against human trafficking, addressing consumer fraud, or fighting the opioid epidemic, Pam demonstrated a tireless dedication to justice. I witnessed this firsthand as West Virginia’s Attorney General. Together, we joined multi-state coalitions to challenge federal overreach and stand up for our states. 

On many occasions, Pam and I worked together to sue the Obama administration to push back against unconstitutional overreach. Pam knows when the federal government crosses the line and wields its power unlawfully – under her tenure, the Justice Department will act consistent with the law and treat every citizen the same, regardless of their politics. 

One of Pam’s defining achievements was her leadership in addressing the opioid epidemic. As Attorney General, I’ve spent years battling this crisis in West Virginia, where it has devastated families and communities. Pam’s work on President Trump’s Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission reflected her deep understanding of the urgency and complexity of this issue. She helped craft policies that put victims first and held bad actors accountable – work that complements the efforts we’ve undertaken here in West Virginia. With Pam at the helm of the DOJ, I am confident that the fight against this epidemic and the fentanyl menace – one of our most pressing national challenges – will remain a top priority.
