I am the granddaughter, niece, cousin/sister, daughter, daughter-in-law, and mother of many committed patriots. Perhaps it is this background and personal experience that makes the present Administration more offensive to me than I could have ever imagined possible in my younger days. Through the years I have witnessed an array of different presidents, some with many problems, and many with some problems. However, no one ever attributed their shortcomings to be telltale symptoms of an un-American belief system. Oh – those were the good old days.

Un-American activities

The laundry list of un-American and downright offensive, unconstitutional, and treasonous activities exercised by this Administration is mind-boggling. And the destruction he has done (I believe deliberately) to this country will take decades to reverse, if it is possible to reverse. To make matters worse, recent history has shown that our checks and balances have become rubber stamps. Sadly, the lack of action by those in Congress to do anything about it eclipses the Administration’s egregious power grabs and anti-American offenses. In reality, their complicity makes them accomplices to the tenth degree. We can no longer trust them to purchase a toilet seat properly, never mind impeach a traitorous president.

That’s the bad news. Now for the good news. This course of action is populated by more trustworthy patriots than those in Congress – men and women who would give their lives for this country. BO himself may have just given us the ammunition we need to impeach him by his latest usurpation of a law he promoted and signed last year that requires a president to go through proper channels before implementing a deal with terrorists. In this case, a deal that freed five of the most dangerous terrorists in GITMO in exchange for another possible terrorist – a man that renounced his American citizenship, deserted his troops, refuses to speak English, and has expressed his sympathy for the Taliban. And worst of all – is directly responsible for the deaths of six Americans who had the ungodly task of searching for this self-avowed deserter. Now, don’t get me wrong. I agree with the military that all troops that are lost need to be searched for and brought home. However, this man renounced his citizenship! At that point, he is no longer an American and no longer worthy of the protection of our military. He wanted to join the Taliban – let him. And let them deal with him as they see fit.

I promised good news. There may be a way out of this mess – a way that may enable us to apply adequate pressure to Congress and the spineless elitists we have elected to protect our Constitutional Republic to impeach BO. Part of our problem in impeaching the man now occupying the White House is that any impeachment process has to pass the Senate by a 2/3 vote. Of course with a Democratic majority in that branch of Congress, expecting such vote results is illogical – but maybe not in an election year, and maybe not if they are so embarrassed politically that their dearly beloved careers hang in the balance.

Charge BO under military law?

Here’s the plan. BO is officially our Commander in Chief. As such, he is part of the military. Unfortunately, as the head of the military he is not subject to court-martial. However, he is subject to being charged with crimes and misdemeanors in a military court, such as aiding and abetting the enemy – or treason. Article 104 of the Punitive Articles of the UCMJ known as “Aiding the enemy” reads:

Any person who—(1) aids, or attempts to aid, the enemy with arms, ammunition, supplies, money, or other things; or (2) without proper authority, knowingly harbors or protects or gives intelligence to or communicates or corresponds with or holds any intercourse with the enemy, either directly or indirectly; shall suffer death or such other punishment as a court-martial or military commission may direct.

Obama’s recent actions that released five well-known Taliban leaders to the Taliban certainly aided the Taliban, who have declared themselves our enemies. This action was also done without proper authority and also required communications and/or correspondence with the Taliban. If a military tribunal did have the authority to take it to the next step and court-martial Obama, the sentence would be more severe than impeachment; it could be as severe as death. We all must realize that there is a reason why the five released terrorists were in GITMO in the first place, and there is also a reason why the traitor in chief didn’t go through proper channels to release them. Even the spineless members of Congress would never have agreed to such an overtly treasonous action. Perhaps BO thought it would be easier to sweep this under the rug and convince the American people that somehow this was the right thing to do than to present it to Congress for their approval.

I have been assured by a constitutional and military scholar that since BO is the Commander in Chief, he can be charged by a military court. Furthermore, that court has the authority to adjudicate him guilty of such crimes and misdemeanors – including that of treason. In the event that should happen and a verdict convicting BO of treason on the basis of aiding and abetting the enemy or any other crime and/or misdemeanor is reached, the matter would be remanded to Congress for impeachment. With such adjudication in place, it would be extremely hard for Congress not to act. As a matter of fact, it would be extremely embarrassing for them not to act, and embarrassment in the political world is tantamount to career suicide – which they all know very well.

Our Founders may have designed a check and balance system that consists of three branches of government, but we may have just discovered another one. Our country lies in the balance. I say it’s time to go for the jugular. Let’s get this poser impeached – one way or another! And, I think we may have the men and women in our military that have the right stuff to do it.
