Money matters
Free stuff until…
Bernie Sanders’ message of free college tuition, among other things, has resonated with those who believe they are entitled to as much “free stuff” as possible. In truth, the US mint could not print money fast enough to pay for all the free stuff Sanders is promising his supporters. Not to mention that as the money is printed, its value decreases, resulting in more money needing to be printed. Before long, you will need wheelbarrows to transport enough cash to the supermarket to purchase a loaf of bread – much the same as it was in post World War I Germany.
How would free stuff really work out?
Let’s suppose the socialist’s promise of free college tuition is realized. Since operation costs need to be sustained, as well as those that work for the college, like maintenance people, professors, office staff, etc. need to be paid, the money for all of this has to come from somewhere. If the government pays for it, government has to get the money from somewhere, since government doesn’t have any money of its own. That would be the taxpayer of course. So here’s the rub. Once the college student graduates and goes to work, then they become the taxpayer who is now bound to pay for everybody else’s college tuition. Now what they enjoyed free of charge, they will spend the rest of their lives paying for others to enjoy free of charge. In essence, their tuition may be free while they’re in college but they will spend the rest of their lives paying for everyone else’s “free” tuition instead. Poetic? Isn’t it?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there. All the other free stuff, like birth control, medical insurance, and even cell phones have to be paid for by government as well – translation: the taxpayer. So as these socialists start having dreams that include buying a house, or a new car, or going on a fancy vacation, they will find these dreams harder to achieve simply because the harder they work and the more they make, the more the government will take to pay for everybody else’s free stuff. The irony is that all the free stuff they want will become drastically reduced as the working force self-reduces. Sooner or later many will realize that since achieving their dreams is virtually impossible, they would be smart to join the ranks of the unemployed and enjoy all that other taxpayers can provide. We know how this ends. Eventually, the working few will become the working invisible who refuse to be slaves laboring for the benefit of others.
Free stuff until the collapse
This scenario can only end one way: in total economic collapse. And Utopian dreams cannot be sustained without a work force and without a stable economy. The real problem is that the dream will not end soon enough. Its demise will be slow as the economy evaporates into oblivion, stalling its predictable doom just long enough to beguile the majority of Alinsky’s “useful idiots” into thinking their free ride is sustainable. And all of this may be attributable to the One World Order prophesied in the Book of Revelation, but of course few study that Book anymore so they are as biblically clueless are they are economically clueless. When one considers that the US economy stands in the way of this diabolical eventuality, the answer seems to be undeniable. In the eyes of the 10 globalist kings of Revelation, the United States must fall in order for them to achieve global domination and control of the world’s monetary system. However, I say we must do all we can to stand, and then when we can’t stand anymore, we must still stand. You see, the Book of Revelation also tells us something else. It tells us all these things are to take place so that we won’t be caught unaware like when a thief comes in the night, but it also tells us to overcome. So we have a choice. We can roll up in a ball and die as the forces of evil take hold, or we can stand as true warriors of God. If we stand, regardless of the outcome, we win. Like Donald Trump, I like winning, so I will stand. Please stand with me and give the devil and his minions a fight they won’t forget when they are imprisoned for a thousand years. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus, come.
