Texas teens kill stepfather after learning he molested their nine year old half-sister
Two teen brothers and a friend of theirs have been charged with multiple offenses, including capital murder, after they killed the brothers’ stepfather when they learned he had inappropriately touched his nine year old daughter – the boys’ half-sister.
The names of the victims and defendants have been made public by authorities in Pharr, Texas, but will remain private here to protect the minor victims’ privacy.
Pharr police say their investigation showed the boys were alerted to the assault by the minor child, who is their half-sister. They, along with a friend, confronted their 42 year old stepfather, and the group began to fight, prompting the elder man to depart the scene on foot. The teens chased him to a nearby apartment complex, where another assault of the man occurred.
The teens then left the scene, changed vehicles, and returned to the area where they found the man injured but walking along the side of the road. There, they approached him again and beat him with brass knuckles. They then loaded the man into the bed of their pickup truck and dumped him in a field in McAllan, Texas, where he was found still alive by a farmer.
Police were called and the man died in the field after suffering severe head trauma. The teens were arrested and have been charged with a variety of offenses, including Aggravated Assault, Organized Criminal Activity, and Capital Murder.
