Speaker Pelosi stops short of calling on Justice Thomas to resign, says he should ‘never have been appointed’
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked by reporters this week if she thought Justice Clarence Thomas should resign from the Supreme Court in the wake of his wife Ginni’s now-public text messages seeking to overturn the 2020 election.
While the Speaker declined to call for Thomas’ resignation, she did tell reporters, “I don’t think he should have ever been appointed.” Pelosi further pushed for Congress to pass some of the provisions in HR 1, the failed “For the People Act,” which was filibustered by Senate Republicans in June last year.
Specifically, Pelosi referred to the provision that would have required the Supreme Court to develop a code of ethics. “I will say that in HR 1, our bill to have cleaner government, we have a call for the Supreme Court to have a code of ethics. They have no code of ethics — and really? It’s the Supreme Court of the United States.”
Ginni Thomas’ text messages were obtained by the January 6th Committee and have sparked calls for her husband’s recusal from any cases related to Trump or January 6th, and some calls for his resignation.

‘Conservative’ Outfits are ‘Scouring’ Because Journalists Won’t
She doesn’t want her crimes to get exposed or to get her power undermined by enforcing of the US Constitution by the US Supreme Court. Remember, we only have 6 actual US Supreme Court justices at this time. Mr Obama and Mr Biden can not appoint Judges since the Elections are void due to Article 2 Section 1 Paragraph 5, Amendment 12, and the Electoral College selecting the President and Vice-President as a team. And she does not want the real facts of Jan 6th or the vote fraud to get exposed.
