Trump aide Stephen Miller spoke with Jan. 6 panel, AP sources say
On Thursday, Stephen Miller, who had been a top aide to President Donald Trump during his time in office, was questioned for several hours by the House committee investigating he January 6, 2021 attack at the Capitol.
Miller served under Trump advising policy decisions, and he was a central figure in many of the choices made by Republicans.
Previously, Miller had resisted efforts by the committee to gather information from him, and he filed a lawsuit last month looking to negate a subpoena that had been issued for his phone records.
The interview took place virtually for about eight hours, as noted by a person close to the situation who spoke with the promise of anonymity to discuss the testimony. Another person verified that Miller had appeared before the committee.
Miller has been the latest in a series of interviews the committee has conducted with key figures in Trump’s close circle as the lawmakers are getting closer and closer to the former president by questioning those who were with him on the day of the attack.
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, also agreed to work with congressional investigators several months after they had initially been asked but just weeks before Miller’s own appearance.
In November, the panel issued a subpoena to Miller back in November as well as Steve Bannon and former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
The panel’s chairman, Democratic Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson, said at the time that Miller knew of and engaged in “efforts to spread false information about alleged voter fraud,” and he had additionally encouraged state legislatures to change the outcome of the 2020 election by selecting alternate electors.

One the vote fraud is in the public arena and no matter how the Democrats try to hide it it won’t work. And we already know the Jan 6 violence was being promoted by “Leftist” not Trump Supporters. Promoting violence is a standard tool of the “Left”.
