Sen. Chuck Grassley alleges the FBI, DOJ discredited negative information about Hunter Biden

Whistleblowers who have deemed to be “highly credible” have reportedly approached Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IO) to allege that the FBI have been engaged in a committed effort to discredit any information received about Hunter Biden. The letters in question were reviewed by CBS news.

“The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,” Grassley wrote. “The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter.”

Grassley was interviewed by Newsmax’s Greta Van Susteren about the letters. He said this was a bigger issue than one man.

“This goes beyond Hunter Biden, this goes to more the broader issue of whether or not there are people in the Justice Department that are closing down cases that should be continued because of political influence,” Grassley said.

Grassley reported that another investigation into Biden was ordered to be ceased by Timothy Thibault. He said that this took place one month before the 202 election and was done on the grounds of “disinformation.”

“According to allegations, all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants. In addition, ASAC Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required by FBI guidelines,” the letter said.

Grassley pressed the FBI by giving them a deadline of August 8th to release crucial records about the Biden investigation. Grassley went onto say that if the allegations turn out to be true, this will lead to the FBI and the Justice Department “being corrupted to their very core.”

“If these allegations are true and accurate, the Justice Department and FBI are – and have been – institutionally corrupted to their very core to the point in which the United States Congress and the American people will have no confidence in the equal application of the law,” he said.
