NYC Mayor Eric Adams threatens to help campaign against Texas Gov. Abbott in November
New York Mayor Eric Adams lashed out at Texas Governor Greg Abbott this week as the two continue to spar over Abbott’s transportation of migrants from the Southern border to New York and Washington, DC.
Governor Abbott announced he had ramped up the busing of migrants to New York and DC this week in response to Mayor Adams’ criticism of Abbott’s handling of the influx of migrants at the US-Mexico border.
“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” said Governor Abbott. “I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.”
In response to Abbott’s escalation of the busing program, Adams threatened on Tuesday to campaign against Abbott ahead of the midterm elections in November. “I already called all of my friends in Texas, and told them how to on cast their vote,” Adams said at a news conference on Tuesday. “And I am deeply contemplating taking a busload of New Yorkers to go to Texas and do some good old-fashioned door knocking. For the good of America, we need to get him out of office.”
Adams appealed to the federal government for assistance with the influx of refugees coming from the southern border into his city. He claimed Abbott has “used innocent people as political pawns to manufacture a crisis. New Yorkers are stepping up to fix it — that’s our city’s values. But we need the federal government’s help — money, technical assistance and more.”

Does Eric Adams realize he will be helping Gov Abbott get re-elected since it will help expose the hypocrisy and lies of the “Left” and Democrats. Illegal aliens are invaders and we need to deal with the invasion occurring through the southern border.
