Officials have confirmed that 40-year-old man was apprehended on August 30th after robbing several banks in the East Bay including branches in Berkeley, Dublin and Walnut Creek.

The Berkeley Police Department provided a written statement to SFGATE where they said the suspects first hit that day was the Mechanics Bank on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley, where he entered the bank and demanded cash just after 10:30 a.m.

The Berkeley PD said detectives figured learned that later on in the same day, the same man robbed a bank in Dublin. His next attempt in Walnut Creek failed and then a matter of minutes later, he was able to steal a sum of money from another bank.

The Walnut Creek Police Department shared a picture on their Facebook page of the suspect in handcuffs. They also showed a picture of a small pile of notes taken from the suspect. The Facebook post did not disclose how much money was taken from the suspect; however the picture did show 2 $100 bills, 2 $50 bills and several $20’s.

“WCPD is currently investigating an attempted robbery at a downtown bank and a completed robbery of a 2nd bank. Both occurred minutes apart a short time ago. Officers and Detectives located the suspect, and he has been arrested. There were no weapons involved and no one was injured.”

This is not surprising considering what has been done by the Democrats all over the country.
