President Biden calls Trump ‘totally irresponsible’ for allegedly keeping classified documents
During an interview on “60 minutes” by CBS, President Joe Biden said that former President Donald Trump’s handling of the classified documents was “totally irresponsible,” while also adding that he would be staying out of the investigation.
The FBI reported that they discovered classified documents during their search of Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence on August 8th.
“I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? And by that, I mean, names of people who help etc., and it’s just totally irresponsible,” Biden said during the interview.
Despite Trump’s claims that the search was politically motivated, Biden denied being briefed on the raid ahead of time. He also said he has not received a briefing on the contents of the documents taken by the FBI.
“I have not asked for the specifics of those documents because I don’t want to get myself in the middle of whether or not the Justice Department should move or not move on certain actions they can take,” Biden said. “I agreed I would not tell them what to do and not, in fact, engage in telling them how to prosecute or not.”
The Justice Department’s investigation into Donald Trump is still ongoing. They have alleged that Trump removed documents from the White House, some of which they said contained highly classified information and were labelled as “top secret.” The investigaton will also look into whether Trump’s actions could have caused a national security risk.
Trump recently told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt that he had done nothing wrong and all documents had been de-classified.
“I can’t imagine being indicted. I’ve done nothing wrong. Look, if you look, you know it better than anybody. Everything was declassified,” Trump said.
Hewitt asked Trump if he anticipated any “problems” both he and the country would face if he was indicted.
“I think they’d have big problems, big problems. I just don’t think they’d stand for it. They will not, they will not sit still and stand for this ultimate of hoaxes,” Trump said in response. “I don’t think the people of this country would stand for it, especially since they know, especially since they know I’m totally innocent.”

Mr Biden is simply following “Rules for Radicals”. In it is says to keep repeating lies until people believe them. Of course, eventually people do discover the lies but often after suffering from the consequences of the lies.
