Herschel Walker says he loves his son ‘no matter what’ after his son bashes him for ‘destroying other peoples lives’
Christian Walker, who is the son of Georgia Senate nominee Herschel Walker, blasted his dad by calling him bad father, a liar and a hypocrite.
His remarks came not long after a news report on Monday claimed that Herschel had gotten a woman pregnant and then paid for her abortion in 2009.
“I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some ‘moral, Christian, upright man.’ You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you,” Christian Walker wrote in a series of tweets.
“Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one. He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it,” he added.
Christian’s tirade on Twitter occurred not long after The Daily Beast, which said that woman who requested that she not be named, published a story saying Walker had pressured her into having an abortion. The article said that the women still has a receipt from the abortion clinic along with a “get well” card from Herschel Walker.
NBC News said it has not yet verified the woman’s allegations or been able to independently review either the receipt or the “get well” card.
Herschel Walker’s campaign responded to requests for comments by referring anyone to Herschel Walker’s response on Twitter, where he denied the story and said he plans to sue The Daily Beast for defamation of character.
In response to Christian Walker’s tweets, Herschel Walker responded to one of them, writing “I LOVE my son no matter what.”
