Elon Musk says President Biden is too old to run for a second term
Elon Musk has played down President Joe Biden’s chances of winning a second term by saying he believes President Joe Biden, 79, is too old to run again.
If Biden were to be reelected, he would be 82 years old at the start of his second term.
“You don’t want to be too far from the average age of the population because it’s going to be very difficult to stay in touch,” Musk told Roula Khalaf of the Financial Times.
“Maybe one generation away from the average age is OK, but two generations?” he added. “At the point where you’ve got great-grandchildren, I don’t know, how in touch with the people are you? Is it even possible to be?”
In November 2021, Musk clashed with Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT), who was 80-years-old at the time, after Sanders demanded that “the extremely wealthy pay their fair share.”
Musk replied by saying, “I keep forgetting that you’re still alive.”
Musk also made similar comments about former President Donald Trump in July when Musk told him he needs to, “hang up his hat & sail into the sunset.”
“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency,” Musk said.
Musk, who said he voted for Biden in 2020, and has been a supporter of Democrats in the past said he plans to vote Republican in the next election.
“The reality is that Twitter at this point, you know, has a very far left bias,” Musk said back in May. “I would classify myself as a moderate, neither Republican nor Democrat.”
“I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically. Like I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,” he continued. “Now this election I will.”

Mr Biden is mentally incompetent and should never have run the first place. Mr Biden is clearly suffering from dementia and his handlers know it.
