MyPillow CEO and faithful Trump supporter Mike Lindell revealed this weekend that he may challenge veteran Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel, who has announced she will seek another term.

McDaniel, who has served in the position since 2017, received endorsements from a majority of the RNC members last week for her reelection campaign.

Lindell said on his own television channel, FrankSpeech on Friday that he may announce his candidacy on Monday.

“One of the things I will tell you, you know, [we] will never, ever stop to get rid of these machines and make this the best elections in world history in our country,” he said. “We need someone, everybody, and I’ll step into that if God willing.”

Lindell says he has spoken to several RNC members and received their verbal support for challenging McDaniel for the post.

“Every one I’ve talked to of these state chairs, they need new leadership,” Lindell said to HuffPost on Friday. “I don’t know if this is a paid position, nor do I care. I want to help save our country.”

Republican New York congressman Lee Zeldin indicated earlier this month that he will likely seek the position as well, after losing the gubernatorial election to incumbent Governor Kathy Hochul in the midterm election.

“It is time for our party to retool, transform, win back the Presidency in 2024, expand our number of Republican held seats in Congress, and elect the maximum number of down ballot races across the country,” Zeldin said in the message. “The Republican Party needs to be all in to do everything in its power to save America.”
