Rep. Liz Cheney calls Trump ‘an enemy of the Constitution’ after he called for ‘termination’ of founding articles
On Sunday, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) labelled former President Trump as “an enemy of the Constitution” after he called for terminating the document citing claims of mass electoral fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
“Donald Trump believes we should terminate ‘all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution’ to overturn the 2020 election. That was his view on 1/6 and remains his view today. No honest person can now deny that Trump is an enemy of the Constitution,” Cheney wrote on Twitter.
Trump previously said in a post on Truth Social: “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) also took aim at Trump.
“With the former President calling to throw aside the constitution, not a single conservative can legitimately support him, and not a single supporter can be called a conservative. This is insane. Trump hates the constitution,” Kinzinger tweeted.
Cheney and Kinzinger are the only Republicans sitting on the January 6th committee, which has set out to investigate Trump’s alleged role in the Capitol riot.
Cheney said in September that she may switch parties in the future.

The US Constitution was not followed when the Biden/Harris team was selected by the Electoral College, as well as when Obama/Biden team was selected and with the votes for the McCain/Palin team. Mrs Harris, Mr Obama, and Mr McCain invalidated their teams since they fail both Citizenship requirements for President and Vice-President. The Trump/Pence team IS the Constitutional President and Vice-President team. So we would be restoring US Constitutional rule. And note that the violations have been going on for a least a century. And there was no riot on Jan 6. If there had been Washington DC would have been burned to the ground. This is just more attacks on Trump since he a threat to the “”Left” and “Deep State”.
