Mother of Hunter Biden’s child seeks court approval to give their daughter the ‘benefit’ of being a Biden
A woman who conceived a child with Hunter Biden has asked an Arkansas court for permission to legally change the 4-year-old girl’s last name to Biden so the child can enjoy the benefits of being related to the presidential family.
Lunden Roberts, 31, filed four motions on Tuesday in connection with the paternity case against Hunter, which was reopened in September when he asked the court to lower his child support payments.
The Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported that Robert’s attorney, Clinton Lancaster, said that Navy Joan Roberts would “benefit from carrying the Biden family name.”
The name, he said, was “now synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute, and politically powerful.”
Navy is Hunter’s 5th know child. He also has three adult daughters with his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, and a 2-year-old son with his second wife Melissa Cohen Biden. His biological relation to Roberts’ daughter was revealed through a DNA test in 2020.
Neither Hunter nor his father, President Joe Biden, have met the young child, according to the Gazette.
Lancaster argued that this could be considered “misconduct or neglect,” but said that giving the child her father’s name could amend this.
He asked the court to reject Hunter’s request to lessen his child support payments.
Lancaster also sought information into the federal government’s tax fraud probe into Hunter.
