High schooler taunts LeBron James after knocking game-winning shot against his son’s school in playoffs
Christian Jones, who is a student at Bishop Montgomery High School, taunted LA Lakers starter LeBron James after he scored a three-pointer on Tuesday against Sierra Canyon, who James’s son plays for. The three-pointer took the final score to 51-49 in favor of Bishop Montgomery High School.
Jones scored the match-winning shot with less than 5 seconds to go and then proceeded to pointed directly at NBA’s all-time scoring leader before going off to celebrate with his teammates.
“I pointed directly at LeBron and he just shook his head up and down,” Jones said via the Daily Breeze. “He couldn’t say nothing.”
Jones went onto say that “I just shot it and it was just cash.”
Jones also posted the incident on TikTok, which included the reaction of LeBron James. LeBron appeared to nod in approval.
Jones captioned the video “POV: you hit a game winner in front of Lebron” and added several hashtags, including #ipointedatlebron.
Jones scored 7 points during the game, while Bronny James notched up 11.
