Biden selling off wall segments
Joe Biden is selling off the unused segments and other materials of the Trump border wall, so that it will never be rebuilt.
President Joe Biden is selling off segments of the border wall his predecessor was building, according to an inside source. But confirmation of the account by this source is openly available on a government surplus materials auction site
Biden sells off wall so he can’t finish it
The first reports came from The Daily Upside on August 11. But in addition, the site GovPlanet.com lists the construction materials clearly intended for the border wall. In fact the particular lot listed, “Nucor Tubular 28′ x 6″ x 6″ A500 Grade B(C) Square Structural Tubes,” sold on August 16 for $29,100.
The auction listing made no mention of the original purpose of the materials, which clearly are the same materials that went into the making of the segments of the border wall. According to the inside source, those are the orders of the Defense Logistics Agency, responsible for the liquidation.
We are legally not allowed to mention these are the border wall materials, or we could lose our jobs. But that’s what they are, 110 percent.
Officials at GovPlanet.com literally don’t know any more than they’re telling as they run the auction.
With the sale of the construction materials, any prospect of finishing the border wall is bleak to zero. According to The Western Journal, bills are pending in the House and Senate to compel the government to “finish the job.” One such bill has passed the House already, according to Forbes. Three Republican Senators are sponsoring similar legislation in their chamber.
Biden, within hours of taking office, signed an Executive Order directing border wall contractors to down tools and go home. Texas is now building a border barrier of its own, down the middle of the Rio Grande. The federal government is now suing Texas to enjoin that and order Texas to take that barrier down.
More Democratic defections
In separate but related news, County Attorney Kira Talip Sanchez (D-Kleberg Co., Texas) announced Saturday her intention to defect. Kleberg County is on the Gulf of Mexico, not the Rio Grande, but Sanchez considers that Kleberg faces the same issues as do Texas counties along the river.
As County Attorney, I have been proud to work with law enforcement to ensure the safety of the citizens of Kleberg County. There is an unprecedented crisis at our southern border. I believe that the GOP’s policies of law and order protecting safety, and backing the blue best align with my values and the values of the citizens of Kleberg County.
Sanchez joins four other Texas Democrats who have switched parties in 2023 alone.
