Another election steal planned?

Are the Democrats planning another electrion steal? California abolishes voter ID while Michigan looks away from phony registrations.

Yesterday CNAV informed readers that the Democrats plan lawfare – warfare using the law – as their real campaign. Today CNAV intends to show that the Democrats plan another Big Election Steal, like the one in 2020. Indeed they can do nothing else, as their top candidate denies ever having taken part in the major policy decisions and actions of President Joe Biden’s administration. Now one State Senate has passed a brazen election steal facilitating bill. In another State, an investigative journalist has found the second voter registration scam in as many years. But all the top officers responsible for investigating such a scam, have a conflict of interest.

Election steal methods

An election steal relies on three methods, other than the time-(dis)honored method of presenting a false campaign message. A party can register people to vote who are not eligible to vote, or keep no-longer-eligible voters registered. It can also implement a highly irregular and totally illegal vote-by-proxy method. (This second method requires elimination or subversion of requirements for voter identification at the polling place.) Finally it can change the votes reported to a result other than the votes actually cast.

Voter rolls are notoriously dirty, as many conscientious State governors, Attorneys General, and Secretaries of State have found. Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-Va.) recently announced removing over six thousand non-citizens from the voter rolls. Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) announced a similar number – part of more than a million no-longer-eligible voters still on the rolls. (Still on, that is, until he removed them.) In addition to the non-citizens, these included deceased voters, and voters who had moved out-of-State. (Moving within a State, and staying registered to vote in two separate jurisdictions at once, is a dicier dodge.)

The “irregular vote-by-proxy” method means impersonating a registered voter at voter check-in. Usually the voter involved is dead or moved out – but could also be a “low-propensity” or other less-active voter. The impersonator could be registered to vote at another precinct – or an out-of-State Party operative.

Changing voting results in real time requires tampering with, preprogramming, or otherwise overriding a scanner-tabulator. CNAV has covered that many times before.

Role of mail-in absentee ballots

Mail-in absentee ballots, usually available on request for any reason or no reason, rely on the first and second methods. A large pool of spurious registrations makes mail-in ballots easier to obtain and use. The Party involved will commonly register many people at, say, a single-family residence rated to house only a fraction of the registrants, or at an empty warehouse, a grocery store, or wherever. All the operatives need is a mail drop – a readily accessible mailbox, or “forwarding” mail to a post-office box.

Once the operatives have ballots in hand, they fill them out for the race or races they want to sway. The big mistake the Democrats made in Election Steal 2020 was to undervote most of their mail-in ballots. That’s how they lost seats in the House of Representatives. The only reason they took the Senate is that two Democrats advanced to runoffs in Georgia. Those Senators were thus at the top of – indeed the only ones on – the “ticket.” Gimmicking their election was a simple matter. (And, CNAV imagines, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Speaker of the House, was ready to strangle whoever managed the mail-in ballot part of Election Steal 2020, and neglected to help her Caucus out down-ticket. Many prominent Democratic names, like Donna Shalala of Florida, are no longer in the House, as a direct result.)

The California Senate sets up Election Steal 2024 in that State

This morning, Ben Kew of The Gateway Pundit reported a blatant election steal facilitation bill that passed the California Senate. This bill forbids local Officers of Election to check voter identification in local elections. This bill, SB1174, is a rebuke to the city of Huntington Beach, California, which requires voter ID by city ordinance. State Senator David Min, the bill’s author, asserts:

An overwhelming body of evidence proves that voter ID laws only subvert voter turnout and create barriers to law abiding voters.

That depends on what Sen. Minn means by “to vote.” As an Officer of Election, your editor can attest that asking for identification presents no barrier, longer than one or two seconds, to voter check-in. If a voter desires an ID and cannot afford one, any jurisdiction will usually provide one free-of-charge. But Sen. Minn cites that minor inconvenience as an excuse. He knows that Election Steal Method Two requires elimination of the ID requirement.

To register to vote in California, voters are already required to provide their driver’s license number, California identification number, or the last four digits of their social security number.

Lay aside that California is issuing the first two to non-citizens, and that the third is easily forged. Sen. Minn just addressed Method One – phony registration. This is about Method Two – impersonation at check-in. (Tellingly, a Republican amendment to forbid illegal immigrants to vote, failed in the Senate.)

The Michigan voter registration scam

Meanwhile, Michigan has a problem with phony voter registration – Election Steal Method One. Patty McMurray, continuing her investigative series, gave details yesterday evening. According to her, Station WDIV-TV (Channel Four, Detroit) reported on a new scam, that operates by Short Message Service – “text.” An unsuspecting person might get this message:

We have you in our records as not registered to vote. Check your registration status and register to vote in 2 minutes.

The user can “check his registration” by following the thoughtfully provided link. And because no one ever checks links to make sure they match the printed text – or that they make sense – most users innocently click the link. At the link, apparently one of two things will happen. First, the website operators are collecting social security numbers, addresses, etc. to forge a voter registration. (Or else to steal large amounts of the user’s money, which is another matter altogether.) Second, they are asking for the voter’s consensual complicity in preparing phony registrations. McMurray left this post describing the scam, and asking a pointed question:

Wonder who’s behind the latest voter registration scam in Michigan? Could it be the same party that’s behind every voter registration scam in Michigan?

“Every voter registration scam” refers to the operation by GBI Strategies, also known as Empower Michigan, to register voters with phony addresses, and with forged signatures. McMurray and Ben Whetmore broke that story last year.

That investigation began a month before the Election of 2020 – and no one told the public or even County Clerks.

A RINO Senator blocks election integrity at the federal level

This morning, Julian Conradson at TGP reported an even more disturbing development. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) refuses to include a federal election-integrity measure in a short-term spending bill. The SAVE (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) Act (HR 8281) would require:

  • Individuals to furnish documentary proof of their United States citizenship in order to register to vote,
  • States to require such documentary proof in order to accept and process a voter registration application, and
  • States to remove noncitizens from their voter rolls, as Virginia and Texas have done.

Critics, including the Bipartisan Policy Center and League of Women Voters, insist that the bill addresses a non-problem. It does, like hell. Let those critics explain those twelve thousand records of noncitizen “voters” in Virginia and Texas! Nevertheless, Sen. McConnell refuses to consider it.

Activist Emerald Robinson offers this likely explanation for McConnell’s conduct:

GOP senators are OPENLY TELLING YOU that the GOP has merged with the Democrat Party to destroy the USA. The GOP does not want Trump to win in 69 days. That’s why we’re headed for chaos.

No doubt that’s correct. McConnell’s excuse is one we’ve heard before: “we must avert a government shutdown.” Lay aside that maybe a lengthy government shutdown is just what the country needs to reduce the deficit. Everyone who cares to know, knows by now that a national Democrat is a communist. That’s why former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) turned independent, and why she and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. endorsed Donald Trump. To paraphrase Stephen Turley, Ph.D., McConnell belongs, and is loyal, to the Permanent Political Class, not the people.

They either steal it or lose it

Why are the Democrats – and the RINOs – so desperate to steal this election? Because they can’t win it honestly. This morning, Jim Hoft (TGP) revealed more evidence to suggest that. A polling company calling itself ActiVote weights its results 25 points for Democrats. Even with that lopsided weighting, Harris “leads” Trump by a mere 0.2 percent.

One possible reason for the lopsided weighting is that Republicans do not lend themselves to poll sampling. They block, decline, or simply refuse to answer calls from people they don’t know. Pollsters especially have about as much respect in Republican households as do telemarketers – namely, none.

This user shared a crosstab table from ActiVote that proves especially telling.

Note that these crosstabs have Trump with 21 percent support among Democrats, and leading Harris among independents by 56 percent. Where does Harris lead? In the inner cities, among low-income people, and, oddly enough, among high-school-educated people. And among women, though not among men. Make that single women, because couples tend to vote alike.

All this proves Democrats will press every advantage they have – and tell certain demographic groups what they want to hear. It still won’t be enough – so every Republican poll worker and watcher must take care.
