Harris campaign rapidly collapsing

The Kamala Harris campaign is rapidly collapsing, her allies know it – and some expect they to go mad when it happens.

Even the election integrity lapses of the last few weeks have not changed expectations of the outcome of this election. Today all but the die-hard Democrats expect Kamala Harris to lose. The slow death of the Harris campaign, that became undeniable eleven days ago, has only accelerated. Everything Kamala Harris or her surrogates do, to persuade people that Donald Trump is still the typical racist, sexist, and Alphabet-Soup-phobic candidate (which is to say, white, male, heterosexual, and cis-gendered), has backfired. Worse, Harris poured contempt on half the American people, and that half is returning the sentiment. Now the only way she can win, is to cheat. But without a Cheater’s Baseline, the cheat would be far too obvious to succeed.

Biden destroys an opportunity for Harris

Everyone remembers Donald Trump’s triumphal performance in Madison Square Garden last Sunday (October 27). Trump made one arguable mistake: teeing up too many speechmakers ahead of him. The first, Tony Hinchcliffe, tried to make a joke of the garbage that keeps washing ashore on Puerto Rico. Calling the island itself “a floating island of garbage” did not deliver the punch he intended. Instead it sounded like the racial animus that dates from the 1950s. Shades of the Jets and the Sharks in West Side Story. Or worse, the Thunderbirds and the Horsemen in Burt Lancaster’s social-commentary film The Young Savages.

Naturally Kamala Harris and her surrogates were all over that remark, and ready with the “Thereyasees.” But almost at once, actual Puerto Ricans delivered two kinds of retort:

  1. “Spare us your pretended sympathy; you don’t fool us for one second.” And:
  2. “Hinchcliffe was talking about the real garbage that washes up on our shores. When did you ever even talk about it? Huh? Huh?”

But that wasn’t the worst. That came when Joe Biden – whom Kamala did not invite to her Closing Argument speech – returned a real insult.

Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community… just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage?… The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His – his – his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.

Had Biden delivered those lines deliberately, he could not have done worse damage at a critical moment. For that reason, many observers suspected Biden of deliberate sabotage. CNAV does not. Joe Biden is a vindictive old man in the final stages of organic dementia, and it showed. That’s all.

The spin machine spins out

Immediately the White House tried to spin that performance as not meaning what it sounded like. But as Christina Laila, who covered this gaffe for The Gateway Pundit, pointed out, the attempts convinced no one. First, the White House edited the transcript of Biden’s remarks to change the nominative plural “supporters” to a singular possessive form (“supporter’s”). Second, Biden tried lamely to apologize.

Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump’s supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That’s all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don’t reflect who we are as a nation. Joe Biden

Kaitlan Collins of CNN said in reply:

It’s hard to really look at that when you can listen to it for yourself.

Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.) totally disavowed Biden, saying he would never say such a thing. But Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) actually said Biden was correct! This bespeaks not only clumsy spin but also a total failure of coordination.

Then Donald Trump delivered an epic response. His team acquired a garbage truck, painted it in Trump campaign colors, and outfitted Trump with the orange reflective vests garbage collectors wear on the job. Trump drove this truck on the tarmac in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and held a press conference from the front window.

How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.

We now learn that President Biden ordered the alteration of the transcript, and the National Archives aren’t happy about it.

The New York Times says Biden only “appeared” to call Trump voters “garbage.” That’s disinformation. What Biden said is clear from the video. And now the White House has altered the official transcript in a potential violation of the Presidential Records Act.

Mark Cuban makes it even worse for Harris

Yesterday morning, Mark Cuban appeared on The View to allege lack of support for Trump among women. Christina Laila covered this, too. He said:

Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women! Ever! It’s just that simple. They’re intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them and you know, Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women. I mean he just can’t have her around. It wouldn’t work.

Lay aside that Trump and Haley have reached an accommodation on abortion. Instead, watch Gov. Kristi Noem (R-S.D.) as she challenges Cuban to a debate. “Game on,” she says.

That, as Laila said last night, was only the beginning.

Donald Trump responded directly, and it was a sight to behold:

Mark Cuban, a really dumb guy, who thinks he’s “hot stuff” but he’s absolutely nothing, is now out there saying that I don’t surround myself with strong women. Actually, he is very wrong, I surround myself with the strongest of women – With the understanding that ALL women are great, whether strong or not strong. This guy is such a fool, he’s constantly on Television being critical, and only for the reason that I tuned him out completely while President because he called incessantly. I told him, very pointedly, “Look Mark, I’ve got a lot of things to do, I just can’t be taking so many pointless calls from you.” In any event, that affected him greatly, because he’s a very insecure guy, and a MAJOR LOSER, always has been and always will be! Nobody likes him, nobody respects him, and he’s unattractive both inside and out! He should go back to talk about the person he was forced to support, because I didn’t want it, Lyin’ Kamala Harris. Also, he’s got no clubhead speed!

I may, in fact, be surrounded by the strongest women in the World, including Heads of Countries, who make Mark look like a “baby!” All strong women, and women in general, should be very angry about this weak man’s statement.

Meanwhile, Sen. J. D. Vance (R-Ohio), Trump’s running mate, appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, as Trump had done.

During that interview Vance recalled feelings from the first assassination attempt on Trump. The Cincinnati Enquirer (Vance’ hometown paper) carried key excerpts, and Anthony Scott at TGP carried more.

Vance shared when he was discussing with Trump when he would announce his VP pick, “Trump looked at one of his staff members and said, “Actually, wouldn’t it really set the world ablaze if we just did it today? So why don’t you come up with me and make the announcement in Butler?”

Trump later changed his mind and told Vance, “I’m not going to do it up there. We have to prepare for it better.”

The U.S. Senator, when talking about the Trump assassination attempt, told Rogan, “I thought they had killed him because when you first see the video, he grabs his ear, and then he goes down.”

“At first, I was so pissed, but then I went into like fight or flight mode with my kids. We were at a mini golf place in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grab my kids up, throw them in the car, go home, and load all my guns. And basically, stand like a sentry in our front door, and that was my reaction to it.”

Finally, late last night The Gateway Pundit shared three more signs of the Harris campaign collapsing:

  • The Hill quoted an anonymous Democratic strategist as lamenting that Harris did not get her nomination in the traditional manner. Now campaign associates are starting to blame one another for her ever more likely loss. (Source: Mike LaChance.)
  • Minnesota’s Alpha News interviewed people in Tim Walz’ hometown. Every interviewee said he or she is voting for Trump. (Source: Mike LaChance.)
  • Kamala Harris made one more desperate attempt to rally supporters in Phoenix, Arizona. Hecklers interrupted her yet again – and we all know she can’t handle interruptions. (Source: Christina Laila.) Witnesses described the crowd as “listless and robotic.”

Let me say something here! We’re here because we are fighting for a democracy! Fighting for a democracy! And understand the difference here moving forward! Moving forward, understand the difference here! What we are looking at is a difference in this election. Let’s move forward and see where we are! Kamala Harris

More election integrity concerns

This morning saw more concerns about election integrity, as voters caught several irregularities and forced election officials to address them:

A voter in Laurel County, Kentucky noticed that a BMD refused to accept his touch-screen selection of the Trump-Vance ticket. It defaulted to the Harris-Walz ticket – repeatedly. (Source: Patty McMurray.) X influencer Nick Sortor shared video evidence:

The county clerk himself tested the machine and had to admit the problem was real.

In Wisconsin, members of StopBogusBallots challenged more than 150,000 ineligible addresses, including 4900 in Milwaukee. StopBogusBallots has also operated in Michigan and Pennsylvania. (Source: Jay Valentine, via Gateway Pundit.)

The Detroit voter who “voted” by mail 29 times, voted 15 times from an apartment building – with no apartment number. That’s illegal in and of itself. Again, the election-integrity experts do not suspect that voter of knowing wrongdoing. Rather, they suspect the Michigan Secretary of State of something akin to identity theft. (Source: Patty McMurray.) Those same experts dispute Lara Trump’s assumption that all is well – and now a State Senator is involved.

Someone broke into a mailbox in Twin Lakes, Muskegon County, Michigan. The Blue Lake Township Clerk reported absentee ballots missing. (Source: Patty McMurray.)

Also in Wisconsin, someone photographed a suspicious person dumping a large number of ballots into a drop box. The law sets a limit on the ballots any one person may drop. The Conservative Political Action Committee has complained to the Wisconsin Election Commission. (Source: Jim Hoft.)

Summary

CNAV has not reported on these incidents as they happened, because individually, each could be a distraction. Collectively, they suggest a campaign now going through the motions – while trying desperately to manipulate the vote. That manipulation is now desperate – and clumsy – enough to be patently obvious.

Equally obvious is the desperation, to the point of nervous breakdown, on the part of legacy media personalities. Harris, Walz, other Democratic officials, and media personalities like Mika Brzezinski insist that Trump is the new Hitler. Mr. Lee Smith, author of Disappearing the President, accuses those people of a cold-hearted campaign to incite post-election violence and possibly a military coup against President Trump. But J. Peder Zane of RealClearPolitics and RealClearInvestigations thinks these people truly believe what they say, false though it is.

In short, the Harris campaign has lost its Cheater’s Baseline, and activists are catching them at their dishonest tactics. They are very much afraid they’re going to lose, and they’re showing it.

Trump’s supporters still have the burden of turning out to vote, to make that fear real. After that, they must wait and watch.
