President-elect Donald J. Trump is, by fresh insider accounts, ready to keep a key campaign promise. He will withdraw from the World Health Organization, or WHO, on the first day of his Second Administration. Already that announcement has provoked breathless warnings of the “catastrophic” result that would have on “global health.” In fact an American withdrawal from WHO is more likely to forestall a global health catastrophe than to provoke it. In any event, it’s high time America returned to the John Quincy Adams model of letting the world make its own heaven – or hell – on earth without American help.

Latest bulletins on WHO and America’s role in it

Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit this morning released a compendium of the latest reports from legacy and alternative media sources, and the Trump transition team. The Financial Times has the most definitive – and arguably, the most breathless – report of plans to withdraw from WHO. According to them, several “experts” spoke to Trump transition team members. Whether those members spoke freely or on background is not clear. What is clear is that these sources said Trump would announce American withdrawal from WHO on Inauguration Day itself. This will cancel out more than fifteen percent of the organization’s funding, based on fiscal-year 2022-2023 numbers.

The Financial Times quotes one such expert, Lawrence Gastin, professor of global health at Georgetown Law School:

America is going to leave a huge vacuum in global health financing and leadership. I see no one that is going to fill the breach.

Prof. Gastin specifically used the word catastrophic to describe what he considered the likely result.

Trump’s quarrel with WHO

President-elect Trump made his most definitive statement on WHO and its problems, more than a year before the election. He posted this video on Truth Social:

The World Health Organization has become nothing more than a corrupt globalist scam paid for by the United States but owned and controlled by China. When the China virus [i.e., coronavirus] reached our shores three years ago, the World Health Organization disgracefully covered the tracks of the Chinese Communist Party — every single step of the way. For this reason, it was my great honor to terminate America’s relationship with the World Health Organization.

The United States was paying the World Health Organization almost $500 million a year. When I dropped out, I took it out of there. And for 330 million people, even though China was paying only $40 million for 1.4 billion people. So we had 330 [million]; they have 1.4 [billion], and we’re paying more than ten times the amount.

That’s typical for the United States because they don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Unfortunately, crooked Joe Biden foolishly re-entered the World Health Organization at the full price and without any negotiations or reforms. And now Biden is pushing to bypass the United States Senate to enter a pandemic treaty that would surrender American sovereignty to the World Health Organization. Again, controlled by China.

The draft treaty would require the United States to send vast quantities of medical supplies to other countries in the event of another the pandemic. And it would push aggressive censorship of free speech on issues of public health — just like they censored the truth about the Wuhan lab, which I said, “That’s where it came from.” Remember?

Under the next Trump administration, that treaty will be immediately terminated. I would not allow public health to be used as a pretext to advance the march of global government. That’s what they’re doing. Globalists. The United States will withdraw from the corrupt World Health Organization, which, in light of its utter failure on COVID (they had a tremendous disaster on COVID), deserves to be completely abolished and replaced.

Then, I will work to forge a new coalition of nations that are strongly committed to protecting health while also upholding sovereignty and freedom. I want to thank you very much, but I also want to say this: I could have renegotiated the deal. I could have gone into the World Health Organization for $25 million.

Biden didn’t take that deal. He’s paying almost $500 million. They were so anxious to get the United States back after I terminated the agreement. They were so anxious to get it back that they offered me a deal – $25 to $30 million. And I said, “No, I’ll wait.” Could have gotten it for less. But I didn’t want less at that point. We were paying almost $500 million. Could have done it for 25 to 30 [million dollars]. Biden took the 500 — almost the 500 million dollar deal. He knew he could have gotten back in for less. So why did he pay so much? But that’s just one of many things that are wrong with our country. Thank you very much.

In fact Trump did initiate a withdrawal from WHO in July of 2020. Then-Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), then ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said:

Congress received notification that POTUS officially withdrew the U.S. from the WHO in the midst of a pandemic. To call Trump’s response to COVID chaotic & incoherent doesn’t do it justice. This won’t protect American lives or interests—it leaves Americans sick & America alone.

President Joe Biden, of course, reversed that withdrawal, as he explicitly promised.

The Beeb said then that Trump was wrong to say that WHO was a glove covering a Chinese hand. But it provided no facts to contradict that assertion. Furthermore, the Beeb took Trump to task on various accusations he made against WHO and the Chinese on the handling of the initial coronavirus outbreak. Their fact-check article contains attempted refutations – from or citing Chinese sources, without independent assessment of any kind.

This is the same Beeb whose anchorwoman, Lisa Shaw, died of complications of the coronavirus vaccine. CNAV can assert this positively because – no doubt in violation of every globalist protocol – she came to autopsy. The Final Anatomical Diagnosis in her case led with findings that added up to one thing: Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome. Years later, AstraZeneca, the British drugmaker who made the vaccine Lisa Shaw took, admitted in court that their vaccine could cause TTS.

The narrative unravels

Something else critical to the WHO story took place in November 2022: Republicans captured the House of Representatives. The new House leadership set up a Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. This one single post vindicates Trump’s decision to withdraw from WHO:

More to the point: on March 23, 2020, Yaacov Apelbaum, at The Illustrated Primer, provided evidence of the link between WHO and China that the Beeb never considered. The key: WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and China’s President Xi Jinping, go back a long way. He goes back an equally long way with two Bills: Gates and Clinton. Tellingly, Tedros addressed the Munich Security Conference in February 2020 and made a litany of excuses for the Chinese. Among other things he excused their decision not to restrict international travel.

A month later, Apelbaum totally debunked the Bat Soup Theory of the origin of coronavirus. He also offered suggestions on where that narrative came from – including Turkish intelligence as well as China. Sadly, the false narrative even fooled freedom-friendly outlets like The Daily Caller and somewhat neutral outlets like The Daily Mail.

Analysis

The World Health Organization is a den of con artists, and likely are the catspaws of The Middle Kingdom. Those with a properly discerning attitude knew from the beginning that the coronavirus narrative was wrong. WHO conned Trump himself, and his decision to withdraw reflects as much outrage that someone conned him, as the deadly facts behind the con.

Suppose someone told you,

All your citizens must take this preparation, unless you want meat wagons to parade down your main streets, bullhorns blaring “Bring out your dead!”

And what happened instead were empty hospitals – and quiet disposals of bodies of people dying from that preparation. Would you trust them? Would you not instead offer rewards, if necessary, for information leading to their arrest and public trials?

Stop supposing. WHO and their allies are threatening another meat-wagon spectre. Given their demonstrable history, this is not the time to continue to trust them. At a minimum, the time has come to withdraw support from that organization. Trump wants to build an alternative to WHO that will respect “sovereignty and freedom.” He ought to do more than that – and create tribunals to try Tedros and his minions. For murder, fraud, and conspiracy to commit the same.

Finally, let future Health Secretary Kennedy review comprehensively the entire body of the science of immunology, infectious disease, and immunization. Let not a single precept go without question. Reinvestigate even the defeat of poliomyelitis. Before Trump even thinks of creating an alternative to WHO, let’s find out whether we need one. Then at least those that died from WHO’s bad advice, will not have died in vain.
