Steve Lonegan: an open letter
To Steve Lonegan, from Dwight Kehoe of the Tea Party Advocacy Tracking Hub
Dear Steve:
During these past tumultuous 5 or 6 years, I have been either at your side at news conferences in out-of-the-way suburbs, captained buses to Washington DC, worked with you during the “November is Coming” effort and attended or helped with symposiums and seminars.
Yesterday, shortly following a joint statement prepared by Mr. Nicholas Purpura of TeamNJ and myself, where we delivered a message to 17,000 of our readers concerning the need to run a statesmanlike campaign, we get the news of your filing against Dr. Eck’s petitions.
To say that that news was as disappointing is the understatement of the century.
Steve Lonegan, please walk this back!

Not being an elections attorney, of course I do not know if your court filing can be retracted. I also don’t know if this was something the campaign did without your approval or if it was done as standard operating procedure and with little thought given to the long range consequences.
For certain, with your only competition being removed, so reminiscent of how Obama won his first few elections, you will slide into the fall election with ease. But you can be sure, that is as far as this Saul Alinsky type campaign will take you.

This move by your campaign, if you allow it to go on, will hand this US Senate seat to the Democrats as surely as the New Jersey Supreme Court did for Lautenberg in the Torricelli charade.
Steve, I have been one of your strongest supporters and have defended you on many occasions. If this debacle your campaign is pulling, loses me, and it will, what do you expect of the rest of your support?
If its not too late to do the right thing. In the words of Nike, Just Do It!
Regards,
Dwight Kehoe

Oh boy……I’m in Florida and getting a hint something is wrong in NJ……what’s going on with the gubernatorial candidate Eck? Looking up now…….are they trying to throw her off the ballot?
As a matter of fact, they are. And they are using certain methods the like of which you wouldn’t believe.
