Southern Progess, a political action committee, is looking to raise $300,000 for billboards in Florda that say “Gay.”

The PAC directly opposes Republican politicians in southern states, and is attempting to oppose the Florida legislation some are calling the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

According to the Daily Caller, the ad campaign will feature signs and billboards with the simply phrases of “GAY” or “SAY GAY.” Southern Progress’s goal is to target the Parental Rights in Education bill that was recently passed by the Florida legislature.

HB 1557 specifically states that “Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

The project has been promoted by MeidasTouch, which is a Democrat-linked political action committee. MeidasTouch tweeted pictures of the billboards, writing, “You ready to make a statement in Florida? We are partnering to put these up all over Florida beginning this week. Retweet this and send it to everyone you know.”

Southern Progress has also been known to endorse Democratic candidates in the south. Their mission states the company strives to “speak truth to power and expose the extremist agenda of Republican politicians that seek power for themselves while trampling on the rights of the people they claim to respect.” They are asking for fundraising on their website.

So if someone says the are “gay” simply say you are glad that they are happy. Remember, the word “gay” means “happy”. It is not a word that describes sexual attraction, such as homosexual or heterosexual, nor is a description of sexual behavior such as promiscuous or sodomy. And the same applies to the word “lesbian”. As I understand the history the word identifies women from the Isle of Lesbos off of Greece. And it also is not related to sexual behavior or attraction.

It is important to remember that those promoting sodomy and other deviant behaviors need to target children when they are young since they will not chose these behaviors naturally. And remember, many of the examples people try to cite from nature to support deviant behaviors are actually dominance behaviors related to which male gets to reproduce with the females.
