Nancy Pelosi’s husband faces court date for DUI
Paul Pelosi, who is the husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, will attend court on August 3rd after he was arrested on suspicion of DUI over Memorial Day weekend, according to the Napa County District Attorney’s office.
“If criminal charges are filed, Mr. Pelosi would be arraigned at that time,” Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley said. “The case is currently under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi. This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County.”
California Highway Patrol arrested 82-year-old Paul Pelosi for driving under the influence of alcohol with a .08% blood alcohol content or higher. He was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections, cited and released.
Some on social media have claimed that the DUI charges against Pelosi have been dropped. But Haley said the case is still “under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi.”
“No decision has been made at this time,” Haley added. “Any speculation to the contrary is incorrect. When a filing decision is made by the Napa County District Attorney, the media and public will be notified.”
Both Donald Trump Junior and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) have tweeted that charges have been dropped against Paul Pelosi. Haley said that isn’t the case. Instead, she said “any speculation” that a decision has been made as to whether Pelosi should be charged “is incorrect.”
Boebert Tweeted; “Paul Pelosi’s DUI charges have been dropped. Is anyone really surprised?”
Donald Trump Jnr Tweeted; “Paul Pelosi charges weren’t dropped. They’re just “under review” Just wait for it.”
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) on Thursday denied a public records request seeking the release of body and dashboard camera video documenting Mr. Pelosi’s arrest, saying that “the release of records would jeopardize an ongoing investigation.”

Civil war from the left?
I wonder if people will try to get him off. After all he is part of the “Left” and they never are supposed to have to take responsibility for what they do.
