Vice President Kamala Harris is set to lose 2 more of her senior aides. Both her speech writing director and her domestic policy adviser have tendered their resignations.

Rohini Kosoglu, who works as Harris’s domestic policy adviser, has announced that she will leave her role in August. Kosoglu has worked with Harris since her time in the senate. Kosoglu has reportedly resigned to spend more time with her family.

“It’s been six years, and she understands that my family’s very much looking forward to this time, and that I will always be here should she need any trusted information or counsel,” Kosoglu said in an interview. “Even through this time period, she’s been an invaluable source of support and guidance to me to come to this decision.”

Harris paid tribute to Kosoglu after she announced her resignation. Harris referred to Kosoglu as “brilliant and trusted leader who has been at my side for years.”

“She has brought vision, strategic judgment, and a depth of experience as our Administration has addressed some of the most urgent challenges facing our nation. She is an exceptional public servant and I am enormously grateful for her service. Rohini will remain a valued advisor and friend,” Harris said, per CNN.

Additionally, Politico reported that Harris’s speech writer, Meghan Groob, will be leaving her position after being in the job for less than 4 months.

The Washington Post noted that at least 13 staff members have left Harris’ office since last summer, some of which have described the vice president as “unpredictable and at times demeaning.”

Josh Hsu, the chief legal counsel for Harris, said Kosoglu’s departure was a “big loss” but dismissed that Harris was to blame. “The staff stories, I tend to think, are often a bit exaggerated,” Hsu said.
