President Biden’s approval rating rises to 40%, the highest it’s been in two months
President Joe Biden’s approval rating hit its highest level since June, according to a Reuters/Ipsos survey that was conducted on Tuesday and has Biden’s approval rating at 40%.
From a statistical point of view, this level of support is still historically low for a U.S. president. However, the upward curve in Biden’s approval rating, which includes consistent gains in each of the last three weeks, may calm Democrats who expressed concerns that the party could suffer sizeable losses in the midterm elections where Republicans are aiming to take control of both the House and the Senate.
On Sunday, the U.S. Senate approved a landmark bill which will attempt to tackle climate change, decrease the price of drugs, and also increase some corporate taxes. The bill, which has the backing of the President, is expected to win approval in the House of Representatives. Democrats hope this will increase voter enthusiasm ahead of the midterms.
Tuesday’s poll showed that 78% of those who stated on the poll that they were Democrats approved of the job Biden is doing. This is a small jump from 69% a month earlier. Only 12% of Republicans approved of Biden this week, a figure that has largely flat lined in recent weeks.
In May, Biden’s approval rating hit a record low of 36%. As a result of high gas prices, inflation and an economy that hasn’t fully recovered since Covid, Biden’s approval rating has hovered at the 50% approval level since last August.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll, which surveyed 1,005 U.S. adults, was carried out online. Those responding included 445 Democrats and 357 Republicans. The poll has an error margin of 4 percentage points.

The Two Thanksgivings Between Halloween and Christmas
I wonder how the questions were worded. Mr Biden is clearly working to destroy the country and has dementia.
