House Republicans prep plans to impeach President Joe Biden

With the mid-terms approaching, House Republicans already have their prioritizes set if they seize control of the House. For many House Republicans, one of the top priorities for next year is impeaching President Joe Biden.

According to The Hill, several high-ranking House Republicans have already introduced impeachment articles against the President in Congress. They accuse the President of “high crimes” with his approach toward the border enforcement, the coronavirus pandemic and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

Rep. Bob Good (R-VA), one high-ranking Republican who supports impeaching the President said, “I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe. Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.”

The resolutions themselves would never have a chance to see the light of day with Democrats having the majority in the House. But recent polling shows Republicans gaining seats in the House, regaining the majority in the midterm elections. If Republicans do regain the majority, they’ll use their new potential power to impeach Joe Biden from his presidency.
