An individual holding signage supporting Republican New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin at an event for incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul was reportedly attacked and choked by others in attendance on Saturday.

The incident occurred outside the Stonewall Inn in Manhattan, where Hochul was rallying Democrats to the polls for Tuesday’s midterm elections.

The victim of the attack, Angelica Torres, says she was at the event holding a sign showing her support for Zeldin when a woman she didn’t know took her sign and flung it away from her. Torres said she was then grabbed by the neck as she moved to pick up her sign, and she was reportedly grabbed on the arm by someone else, who was later identified as New York City Councilmember Crystal Hudson

Video footage of the scuffle shows Torres shoving Hudson. Torres told the New York Post, “I was here holding my sign, and … peaceful protest, against you know, Gov. Hochul, and a woman … came and took my sign.”

She added, “As I was trying to retrieve my sign, there was another man that came and choked me, and there were two other people that were coming and preventing me from trying to get my sign.”

Torres claims she was not looking for a fight at the event outside the Stonewall. “Never wanted to get physical with anyone,” she said. “I was just there peacefully just holding my sign, and you know, they didn’t want to hear what I had to say.”

A spokesperson for Councilmember Hudson says Hudson was attempting to separate the woman and the other attackers.

Unfortunately, what occurred is to be expected, Violence is a regular tool of the “Left”. The Bolsheviks, Communist, NAZIs, Fascist, and other on the “Left”, regularly use violence to silence opponents, and create the appearance of a need to be impose control over every aspect of life. Always remember to look behind the curtain the real agenda and why things are done.
