Report: Nuclear energy official Sam Brinton accused of stealing luggage at another airport

Sam Brinton, a senior Energy Department official in the Biden administration, has again been accused of stealing luggage at an airport.

Brinton, 35, is one of the federal government’s first openly “gender fluid” employees and uses they/them pronouns, according to Insider.

Brinton, who serves as the assistant secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition at the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy, was charged last month with felony theft after allegedly a woman’s suitcase from a Minnesota airport.

A felony arrest warrant has now been issued for Brinton after they were again accused of stealing luggage from a Nevada airport, according to SOURCE. Brinton is facing charges of grand larceny, due to the price of the luggage stolen.

Details pertaining to the alleged theft are still being released, but the DOE told INSIDER on Friday that they have placed Brinton on administrative leave.

“The Department is limited by law on what it can disclose on personnel matters, such as an employee’s clearance status,” the DOE said in a statement.

“Generally, as the Department has previously stated, if a DOE clearance holder is charged with a crime, the case would be immediately considered by DOE personnel security officials, and depending on the circumstances, that review could result in suspension or revocation of the clearance.”

Republican lawmakers have since called for Brinton’s resignation, saying in a letter last week: “It is imperative that we do not allow a person charged with a felony to influence America’s policies.”

When one looks at his behavior this is to be expected. He has the typical “Left” attitude that he can do anything he wants to anyone else without any consequence to himself. And he obvious mental issues that show it also. But he knows he doing something wrong.
