Rep. Adam Schiff accuses Trump of violating ‘multiple’ laws, declines to specify which
Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of California on Sunday announced that the January 6 House Committee has uncovered evidence that warrants criminal charges against former President Donald Trump, but would not say what those specific charges could be.
Schiff said during a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he believes Trump “violated multiple criminal laws” in his efforts to prevent the certification of the 2020 presidential election.
“I think that the evidence is there that Donald Trump committed criminal offences in connection with his efforts to overturn the election,” Schiff said.
“Viewing it as a former prosecutor, I think there’s sufficient evidence to charge the president. Again, I don’t actually know. Well, I don’t know what the Justice Department has. I do know what’s in the public record. The evidence seems pretty plain to me.”
“But I would want to see the full body of evidence, if I were in the prosecutor’s shoes, to make a decision,” he said. “But you know, this is someone who, in multiple ways tried to pressure state officials to find votes that didn’t exist. This is someone who tried to interfere with a joint session, even inciting a mob to attack the Capitol.”
He added, “If that’s not criminal, then I don’t know what it is.”
The January 6 committee was formed in July 2021 to investigate the Capitol riot, in which one protestor was killed and several officers assaulted. The committee has primarily focused on Trump’s alleged role in the riot.

What everyone has to remember is that the “Jan 6” committee is just a continuation of the scams attacking Donald Trump. There is no evidence he violated ANY laws. He is a threat to the “Left” agenda. And then consider if “Jan 6” had been as riot DC would have been burned to ground. Look at where the “Left” had riots that were called protest. The places were burned down and people harmed and killed. The people committing crimes are the unconstitutional Biden/Harris team and people in Congress and other government agencies. Look up the definitions of sedition and treason.
