UFO whistleblowers talk to Congress

A House Oversight subcommittee heard from three whistleblowers, all speaking of secret UFO programs and a lack of transparency on UFOs.

Today three witnesses talked about what they knew about the UFO phenomenon – to a committee of Congress.

The UFO Hearing

The hearing took place before a subcommittee of the House Standing Committee on Oversight and Government Accountability. (See the link to the hearing page.) Last week, when they held a hearing, it turned bitter. Not so today, when both sides got equally angry – with as-yet unidentified figures in government trying to “keep a lid on” UFO stories.

The most sensational allegation, of course, is by David Grusch, former Air Force officer. He talked of secret programs to recover dead UFO pilots and their spacecraft, and re-engineer their technologies.

USA Today, CBS News, and The Hill covered today’s hearing.

Besides Mr. Grusch, two other witnesses testified at today’s hearing:

Seating was limited, and members of the general public queued up and filled the hallway of the Sam Rayburn House Office Building on Independence Avenue.

One witness observed that, in contrast to the IRS whistleblower hearing, both sides were remarkably cordial to one another.

All three witnesses spoke of a small part of what they had seen – though Mr. Grusch especially pleaded that he could not tell everything in an open session. He and the others repeatedly suggested the Committee summon them to a closed session. They also spoke of documents that should be available for review in Secure Compartmented Information Facilities, or SCIFs.

Murder!

Members from both Parties expressed anger and shock at some of the more colorful revelations – when the witnesses spoke of:

  • Coming to physical harm themselves, and
  • Knowing first-hand of other witnesses who died from acts of murder.

That aside, the most sensational revelations included descriptions of objects accelerating and turning much faster than any humans could survive. The witnesses also said these objects had no “thermal exhaust” or any normal control surfaces.

The members, hearing this, apparently made mutual pledges of assistance in finding out what, exactly, the U.S. military has in its possession.

In addition to the official stream recording, Jordan “The Angry Astronaut” Wright had his own coverage of the hearing.

Wright has his own theory, namely that the objects, even the pilots, that we’re seeing, are one-way expeditionaries. According to him, a million-years advanced civilization sent a special package to our world. The package, he says, contained alien embryos (perhaps artificial) and a small fleet of flying craft. Their mission: pre-colonial reconnaissance. His theory remains short on details, but he definitely maintains that this package did not travel faster than light. According to him, nothing can – because if it could, we would already have been a target. In short, Wright employs a version of the Fermi Paradox, though he dismisses the orthodox version of that paradox. That version says we have had no visitors whatsoever.

Skepticism

Several X/Twitter users, including some prominent censorship controversy figures, expressed open skepticism.
