Did Obama have a hand in chef’s death?
Why, days after the death of his personal chef, did Obama look as if he’s been in a fight? Why did the 911 log entry give no reason?
Days after Barack Obama’s personal chef died in a pond bordering the Obama estate, more questions have arisen. Certain details surrounding the emergency call, and Obama’s condition afterward, raise a question of whether Obama was on the grounds after all, after he said he wasn’t.
What about that call?
The victim, Tafari Campbell, had been a sous chef in the White House while Obama was President. As he left office, he invited Campbell to join his estate staff as chef. On Sunday, July 23, Campbell went missing. Witnesses said he was paddleboarding in Edgartown Great Pond, which borders the Obama estate on Martha’s Vineyard. Reports said he went paddleboarding, wearing dark clothes, at night, and wore no life jacket. He slipped beneath the surface, came up for air, desperately tried to stay afloat, then went down for good. This happened 100 feet away from shore, where the water was eight feet deep. And – critically – the Obamas were not in residence.
But in the days since, three pieces of evidence have surfaced to question the account – as if the circumstances of Campbell’s drowning in eight feet of water, 100 feet from shore, did not look bad enough.
The Martha’s Vineyard Times reported that the 911 call to summon first-responder aid came from the estate. Responders arrived at 7:45 p.m., and the Obamas were not supposed to be on the grounds. But The Daily Mail obtained part of the Edgartown Police dispatcher’s log for that night. The log entry for the call at 19:46:30 hours that Sunday gives no reason for the call.
The call also came, not from Turkeyland Cove (the location of the Obama estate), but from Wilson’s Landing, two miles away.
How did Obama injure his hand?
The Daily Mail article included this statement: “The Obamas are still thought to be on the island.” That doesn’t necessarily mean they were on Martha’s Vineyard during the incident, however. But on Friday, The Daily Mail reported witnesses seeing – and photographing – Obama on the golf links while his wife was on the tennis courts. Aside from whether their mourning for Campbell was over fairly quickly, was what those photos revealed about Obama’s condition. An alert reader posted to X about what he had seen. Those photos show Obama with a bandaged left hand and a left eye that could be shaping up into a shiner.
The Gateway Pundit blew up the photos and highlighted the left hand with two bandaged fingers.
Reaction to the post with the photo of the former president’s injured hand varied from sarcasm to speculation. But one other user spotted another anomaly – that Obama seemed to have a swollen lip.
Tellingly, witnesses report that Campbell was not alone – but no one has yet identified the second paddleboarder. We also see the former president – looking as if he had been in a fist fight – calmly playing golf after what he said was a devastating loss.
