E-mail post offices taken down

After being informed by a member of our tea party that the email address sent out in the first phase of this operation was not deliverable, I went to the site myself and found that all the email addresses for all the departments had been taken down. The page that had contained the email addresses two days prior now read that these addresses were not being posted, since they are constantly changing. Please understand that the email address contained in the first plea for help was cut and pasted directly from the Mexican website into the body of the message that was sent out. Plus a large number of the various offices listed as part of the Tourism Board and their emails were also listed at the time the operation was initiated. They have also been removed. Do we dare to think that the Mexican Tourism Board took down the email addresses in response to a barrage of emails resulting from this operation?

Being a bit tenacious, I decided to go to directly to their website and send the following email through their “Contact Us” tab that provided a section to send an inquiry.

I wrote:

This is not an inquiry. It is a complaint and a request. I have canceled future plans to visit your beautiful country until Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi is sent home to the U.S.A. I will also not purchase any Mexican products and I will encourage everyone I know to do likewise.

Below is their reply:

Thank you very much but the website they suggested will take you to a list of Mexican Consulates in foreign countries. It will not take you to anyone of authority within Mexico.

Free Sergeant Tahmooressi! Petition our government and theirs.

So, the Mexican Tourism Board doesn’t want to hear our complaints. Well, we don’t want to hear that the Mexican government still has Sgt. Tahmooressi in jail. His new hearing has been scheduled for June 4th and that gives us a few more days to keep hammering the Mexican Tourism Board – unless you have faith that Secretary of State John Swift Boat Kerry is motivated enough to get the job done. He told CNN on Wednesday that he spoke to the Mexican authorities. This is what he said:

We are working on determining whether or not certain evidence that has been presented is meeting the standard that’s necessary to be able to hold that young Marine, and we’re trying to find out exactly what the fact pattern is, but we are working on that.

Inspiring? NOT! Since the Mexican government has been forced to listen to the dribble of our SOS, perhaps they will listen to the complaints of their most prosperous Tourism Board.

Ladies and Gentlemen, keep the barrage of letters, faxes and emails flying. If they don’t like it, they can stop it. All they have to do is release our Marine – or maybe we can expect them to disconnect their fax machine first. The physical address is below along with the fax number.
