Before Obama’s first inauguration as President of the United States in February 2005, America’s former ambassador to the United Nations, John R. Bolton, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute who participated in arms control negotiations, urged Israel to attack Iran. What Bolton saw ten and more years ago is only now becoming obvious, and then only to observers no longer suffering from myopia and political correctness. Of course, John Bolton, as may be seen in his book Surrender Is Not an Option, is a brilliant and courageous analyst.

During the Reagan administrations, he worked in several positions within the State Department, the Justice Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Bolton’s government service included such positions as Assistant secretary for International Organization Affairs at the Department of State (1989–1993), where he led in the successful effort to rescind the United Nations resolution from the 1970s that had equated Zionism with racism.

Mr. Bolton has often pointed out that U.S. efforts to engage Iran in nuclear arms proliferation talks have invariably failed. Bolton is not a milquetoast diplomat – the kind that runs the American State Department and purveys the university-bred doctrine of multiculturalism and its pernicious moral relativism that has erased word “evil” from the mentality and language of American opinion makers and decision makers.

A bold and far-seeing statesman, Bolton urged Israel before Barack Obama’s first presidential election in 2004, to attack Iran – surely with nuclear weapons in mind.

Iran and its clients

He saw what is now obvious, that Obama’s sympathies are with Iran, the world’s greatest exporter of terrorism. He knew that Hezbollah, which has taken over Lebanon, is a client of Iran, and that Iran has supplied Hezbollah with thousands of rockets via Syria.

Hamas, too, is a client of Iran. This has given Tehran direct access to the Sinai from which that Shiite regime can threaten Sunni Egypt.

Iran is not only expanding its influence in the Middle East. The Mullocracy in Tehran has agents in South and Central America and sleeper cells in the United States – all animated by Islam’s malediction “DEATH TO AMERICA!

Obama is not a learned and Western-oriented man. That Islamic terrorism is rooted in the teachings of the Qur’an may not be entirely obvious to him, or leaves him tongue-tied, since he is a self-professed Muslim. But it strains credulity to believe that Obama does not KNOW that the malediction “DEATH TO AMERICA” is a call to Muslims the world over to destroy the country he has sworn to defend.

From the preceding considerations I conclude that America’s most dangerous enemy is in the American White House. This is the individual who concluded a nuclear weapons agreement with Tehran that will make Iran the superpower of the Middle East, hence the spearhead of Iran’s imperial ambitions.◙
