Sen. Mitt Romney tests COVID-19 positive in breakthrough case
Utah Senator Mitt Romney has tested positive for COVID-19, his office said in a statement on Friday night. The 74-year-old Republican, who has been fully vaccinated and boosted, is reported to be asymptomatic.
The statement said Romney will isolate and work remotely until he is cleared to return. His wife, who is also fully vaccinated and boosted, has so far tested negative.
“Senator Romney tested positive today for COVID-19. He is currently asymptomatic and will be isolating and working remotely for the recommended period of time,” his office said. “Mrs. Romney has tested negative. Both Senator and Mrs. Romney have been fully vaccinated and boosted against the virus.”
Romney. R-Utah, is one of several lawmakers who have tested positive in recent weeks for COVID-19.
On Tuesday, the office of Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., who was also vaccinated against the virus, announced that he had tested positive for a breakthrough case.
In a statement, the office said that Warner’s symptoms “are extremely mild,” and he “will be working from home in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Office of the Attending Physician for the duration of his isolation period.”
Other breakthrough COVID-19 cases in recent weeks include Sens. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, Rob Portman, R-Ohio, along with Reps. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

I am not surprised. Anyone who has taken one of the injections is more likely to get infected with the COVID-19/Wuhan/Fauci virus due to what they do to the immune system. People need to take time to do real research on what the injections actually do to the body. The information is out there.
