President Trump targets FBI at his first rally since Mar-a-Lago raid

Former President Donald Trump held a rally at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to support Republican Senate candidate Mehmet Oz and also gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano.

This was Trump’s first public outing since the FBI raid on his Mar-A-Lago residence and he took this opportunity to hit out at them.

“The FBI and the Justice Department have become vicious monsters, controlled by radical left scoundrels, lawyers and the media, who tell them what to do,” Trump said referring to last months search of his home.

“The shameful raid and break-in of my home in Mar-a-Lago was a travesty of justice that made a mockery of America’s laws, traditions and principles,” Trump said at the rally, calling it “one of the most shocking abuses of power by any administration in American history.”

Trump also hit out at President Joe Biden’s speech on Thursday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, pushing back on Biden’s claim that Trump is “a clear and present danger” to the country before going on to call Biden “the enemy of the state.”

“As you know, this week Joe Biden came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to give the most vicious, hateful and divisive speech ever delivered by an American president, vilifying 75 million citizens plus another probably 75-150 if we want to be accurate about it, as threats to democracy and as enemies of the state,” he said.

Trump went on to tell the crowd that FBI agents “rifled through” his wife’s closet drawers and “even did a deep and ugly search of the room of my sixteen-year-old son.”

Mehmet Oz also took to the stage and lashed out at the Biden administration’s response to COVID-19, saying that during the pandemic “we saw ideas crushed.”

Doug Mastrianno echoed these comments: “The Democrats are trying to distract us with their dirty stinking laundry list of bad ideas,” he claimed. “We the people are pissed, I know I am.”
