Kanye West’s erratic behavior reportedly elicits raised eyebrows from Trump

According to reports, former US president Donald Trump has purposely distanced himself from rapper Kanye West after West’s erratic behavior in recent months.

In a recent Rolling Stone article, sources close to the former POTUS revealed Trump has been eyeing West’s online and on-screen behavior recently and has become concerned for West’s wellbeing.

The article also reveals that Trump called his longtime friend at Fox News, Tucker Carlson, after he sat down with West for an interview earlier this month “sounding seemingly perplexed about what the hell had just happened.”

West had mentioned Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, saying he had misused his time in the White House for financial gain.

In a Tweet shortly after the interview, West announced he would go “DEATHCON 3” on Jewish people, resulting in his account being suspended on Twitter and having his Instagram account locked.

The Rolling Stone article said that Trump commented on West’s behavior, saying West is “acting too crazy” and needs “professional help.”

Trump and West had a formerly good relationship, having been photographed together and sitting down for meetings several times in recent years. During his presidency, Trump invited West to the White House to discuss policy, but West used the opportunity to go on an unhinged rant that made headlines all over the world.

Since his public separation from Kim Kardashian, West has acted erratically multiple times in public, sparking a larger discussion about bipolar disorder and how much it contributes to West’s behavior. West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016.
