Cambridge Dictionary updates definition of ‘man’ and ‘woman’ to include trans people
Cambridge Dictionary has revised the definition of “man” and “woman” to include people who do not identify with the sex they were assigned at birth.
“Man” is now defined as “an adult who lives and identifies as a male though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth,” and the definition of a “Woman” is “an adult who lives and identifies as female though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.”
The changes were quickly noticed and criticized by conservatives.
Daily Caller writer Mary Rooke called the dictionary writers “F-ing traitors to the truth,” adding, “If we don’t stop them from erasing women our civilization is [not going to make it].”
Conservative commentator Steven Crowder tweeted: “Remember, if you can control the language, you can control the population.”
A Polish journalist who describes themself as “superbi” suggested that the dictionary is trying to “replace and erase” women.
Others disagreed and many said that opposition to the updated definition is transphobic.
“Guess what transphobes are upset about now? You guessed the dictionary, didn’t you,” tweeted Assigned Media, which is run by an independent journalist with a focus on “anti-trans propaganda.”
“[Trans-exclusionary radical feminists] ganna [sp] blow a gasket. Trans people deserve to be recognized for who they are,” another user said.
Trans rights groups and activists have also celebrated the news.

This is just more of the “Left” distortion of language to destroy reality and the family. Except for co-joined twin conditions a man is “XY” and women “XX”. No mater how much a person mutilates their body or mind with “gender change” treatments the real gender has not changed. And one has to consider this an attack on both healthy, and sane, women and men.
