Devon Archer sings against Hunter Biden
Devon Archer, former business associate of Hunter Biden, gave damning evidence against the Bidens – and Democrats damned themselves.
Mr. Devon Archer, former business associate of Hunter Biden, told a Congressional committee about that association. The evidence he gave – according to a leak and one Committee member who posted for attribution – was more than damning. It confirms everything that good-hearted people have known or suspected about Joe Biden and his family for many years. That evidence also stands as an embarrassment to the Democratic Party and proof that it destroys everything it touches.
The Devon Archer session
Devon Archer testified before what was technically an executive session of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Accountability. Members of the public and the press were not admitted. However, John Solomon at Just the News obviously has cultivated a confidential source. That source shared his take early, and Solomon went public with it at 3:24 p.m. yesterday.
By themselves, confidential and anonymous sources mean little. Anyone can leave an anonymous tip, and corroboration can be difficult. But when that corroboration comes from a party to a conversation or proceeding, that kind of corroboration is rock-solid. In this case the corroboration came from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).
According to the source, Devon Archer told the Committee that Hunter Biden, in 2014, joined the board of Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company. Burisma was the target of American and British investigators – and Ukraine’s office of prosecutor general. So Burisma added Hunter Biden to its board because the Bidens had become a “brand.” And the “brand” of a family with the Vice-President (and a long-serving former Senator) at its head was very valuable. Especially to a corrupt company trying to cope with three different investigations.
Devon Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma’s board was “the brand” and confirmed that then-Vice President Joe Biden brought the most value to “the brand.” Archer also stated that Burisma would have gone under if not for “the brand.”
And – contrary to Joe Biden’s repeated denials – Biden was “on speakerphone more than twenty times with his son’s business clients.” The elder Biden never said anything specific, but he did actively sell “the brand” to those clients.
Firing the prosecutor, etc.
Solomon’s source also confirmed everything revealed nearly two weeks ago about Joe Biden getting a prosecutor fired. Mykola Zlochevsky, owner of Burisma, and executive Vadim Pozharski, both pressured Hunter Biden to do something about the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. We’ve heard already about the $10 million in bribes – and Zlochevsky’s 17 recordings. Now we have more details from Hunter Biden’s perspective. In December 2015, Hunter called his father. Zlochevsky and Pozharski both listened in. The next day, then-Vice-President Biden visited Ukraine to make the firing happen. He even threatened to withhold U.S. aid if the firing did not happen.
Newsmax reported the same things from confidential sources – which suggests that Newsmax’ source and Just the News’ source are the same source. See also:
This also goes to why Hunter Biden’s recent plea deal fell apart. Someone was investigating Hunter for failure to register as a foreign agent.
But apart from a confidential source (or sources), are these posts to Platform X by Rep. Greene:
Jim Holt confirms this on The Gateway Pundit. Chanel Rion at One America News shared the same: images from Hunter Biden’s text-message app.
As incredible as this arrogance must appear, RNC Research shared worse: an attempt at whitewashing from Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.).
Dinesh D’Souza and Steve Guest shared predictable replies:
Mr. Guest links to this article in The Washington Free Beacon, about Dan Goldman’s own corruption – and hypocrisy. And yet:
Goldman has said he supports legislation to bar members of Congress from trading stocks. Reps. Matt Gaetz (R., Fla.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) cosponsored a bill this month to ban congressional stock trading.
Does he really mean it?
A former federal prosecutor who rose to prominence as the lead prosecutor in the first impeachment of former president Donald Trump, Goldman pledged during his campaign to set up a blind trust for all of his assets, though he has yet to create one since taking office. A spokesman for Goldman told the Free Beacon that the congressman does not personally conduct his stock trades. The transactions are “managed entirely by an investment adviser, with whom he has no discussions about any stock trades since entering Congress,” the spokesman said.
Analysis
Someone on or connected with the Committee must feel that the Republicans should run with this. Three confidential sources, all reporting the same thing, are most likely one. Regardless, the revelations are consistent with Marjorie Taylor Greene’s own revelations.
What they reveal is a family of venal shakedown artists. The difference between them and the Clintons is that they take “woke” and redistributionist ideology very seriously. The Clintons do not. But the Bidens actually thought they could recruit Devon Archer and convince him they regard him as one of them. Evidently he didn’t count on that – because by all accounts he sang whole arias yesterday. None of the famous Three Tenors could have given a better concert than he gave to the House Oversight Commitee.
CNAV has only one problem with the leak: the Committee should have summoned Devon Archer to an open, calendared hearing. Many X users have said the same.
More important still, we see the arrogance of Democratic members of the Committee. Dan Goldman has no room to talk about corruption, because he is just as corrupt as Nancy Pelosi. Worse than he, of course, is Rep. Kweisi Mfume (D-Md.). He typifies Democrats who are primarily after not money but power. He and others will excuse the Bidens because the Bidens are their current point men – or hit men.
The next thing to do is to prefer Articles of Impeachment against this President and his allies. If the Senate wants to embarrass itself by acquitting him, let that be on the Senate’s collective conscience.
Update: Devon Archer testimony released
The House Oversight Committee released an official transcript of Devon Archer’s interview with Committee members.
