Obama eligibility witnesses: Clinton campaign
Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, took his Obama eligibility investigation in a new direction this week. On the day that Jerome R. Corsi shared some of Arpaio’s findings and other evidence with a group of New Jersey activists, the sheriff decided to seek affidavits and other evidence from workers in the 2008 Hillary Clinton campaign. One day later, some of those potential witnesses told some grim stories to interviewers from WND.
Original Obama eligibility question
Hillary Clinton and her supporters first raised the Obama eligibility question in 2008. The Senate debated a resolution to exempt Senator John McCain (R-AZ) from a key requirement for natural-born citizenship. Though his parents were citizens, he was born in the Panama Canal Zone, not in any part of a US State or in the District of Columbia. But the Senate passed a resolution saying that it considered McCain a natural-born citizen anyway.
Whether that resolution is valid or invalid, no one ever tested in court. McCain lost, so any case would be moot. But while the Senate debated that resolution, the Hillary Clinton campaign realized that Barack H. Obama had never furnished a valid birth certificate. So the Clintons and their supporters asked some pointed questions.
Then some person or persons unknown murdered Bill Gwatney, the chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party, a good friend of the Clintons, and a convention super-delegate. The suspect then conveniently died in a shoot-out with police. According to persons familiar with the matter, someone meant to send a message to Bill Clinton:
Shut up, Bill, or you’re next.
Bill Clinton at first refused to let that threat daunt him. Then whoever made the threat, extended the threat to the Clintons’ daughter.
WND published interviews with Bettina Viviano and Michele Thomas, the two persons closest to this affair who were willing to use their names. Thomas accused the Obama campaign of:
- Violating caucus rules to assign delegates improperly to Obama,
- Striking an attitude that anyone who opposed Obama was ipso facto a racist, and
- Threatening her with murder.
Her most specific allegation was that Bill Gwatney had planned to introduce floor petitions to challenge the improper delegate assignments. That, as well as any “message” to Bill Clinton, was the motive for his murder.
Sheriff Arpaio on the case
Sheriff Arpaio did not get involved until after the White House released a document that purported to be a copy of the Obama birth certificate. 250 residents of Maricopa County petitioned him to investigate, and he did. He called in his Cold Case Posse, the members of which take no payment and work on cases that rely more on old documents than on fresh evidence (blood stains, fingerprints, etc.). He fully expected to validate the PDF file that the White House served up. Instead he found the same flaws in that document that at least two rank amateurs found almost at once, by using the Adobe Illustrator program.
Arpaio released his findings to the public on March 1. And after hearing about the Viviano and Thomas interviews, he decided to investigate them, and anyone else who might know about the events of 2008. Thus far he is looking into the Obama eligibility question. Technically, a four-year-old motive-less murder in Arkansas is out of his jurisdiction. But if the motive has to do with the Obama eligibility matter, that is within his jurisdiction. The reason: those 250 citizens who petitioned him to investigate, did so because they want to know whether Obama deserves to be on the general-election ballot.
Obama retaliates
[ezadsense midpost]
Almost at once, the Obama administration retaliated. Until that time, the Justice Department was negotiating to settle a civil-rights allegation against Arpaio and his department. The dispute occurred after Arpaio started to enforce federal immigration law, after federal immigration authorities grew conveniently lax in their duties. Suddenly, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Roy Austin stopped talking.
We believe that you are wasting time and not negotiating in good faith.
Arpaio shot back:
To the Obama administration, who is attempting to strong-arm me into submission only for its political gain, I say: This will not happen, not on my watch!
In a surprisingly testy interview with Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly on Fox’s program America Live, Arpaio insisted that he had never offered to let a Federal monitor watch his department in action. Kelly, perhaps playing “devil’s advocate,” repeated the federal officials’ charge that Arpaio had suddenly refused the monitor, and that’s why the negotiations broke down.
That is garbage. That is garbage. I publicly said in the past I will never give in to a control by the federal government. That is false, which many other statements they make are false. That is not true.
The timing of the breakdown clearly shows that Obama has retaliated for the Obama eligibility investigation. Thus far, Arpaio is the only sheriff investigating the Obama eligibility issue directly. But Sheriff Ed Rochford of Morris County, New Jersey, openly said that Jerome Corsi had shown him enough evidence to suspect fraud:
The easiest way to put this to rest is to have the records unsealed. Mr. Corsi made a very convincing argument that President Obama may not be a natural-born citizen of the United States.

Who Can Save the Marine Corps?
It’s common knowledge of Obama’s support for infanticide and his current continuing support for American abortion genocide. Having someone knocked off who gets in his political way, is small potatoes to this Chicago thug.
Beautiful! I get accused of libel for daring to imply that shyster lawyers are getting paid for their services, only to find this is posted immediately afterwards.
Irony, thy name is CNAV.
I accuse you of naming a specific person as guilty of taking a case on retainer that he knows he’ll lose, just to get a fee, when I happen to know that that specific person took the case pro bono.
And for everyone’s benefit: truth is an absolute defense to a charge of libel.
