The ruling elites of the West are word-mongers and pussy cats. This applies to Israeli governments; else we would not have heard the adage about Golda Meir being the only man in the Cabinet.

To speak only of Israel, it is not going to win any war merely by speeches. But if an Israeli PM is to speak without engaging in psychobabble, let him at least try to put the enemy, e.g. Iran, on the defensive, by accusing Teheran of violating international law and the UN anti-Genocide Convention.

However, such an accusation must be followed, as I have repeatedly urged, by having Israel’s UN Ambassador table a motion to expel Iran from the UN for violating the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights—this to be done while reminding the UN of its expulsion of South Africa from the UN General Assembly.

I have never made this proposal with any expectation of its being heeded, certainly not in an era of multicultural moral relativism. This era, steeped in the shamelessness and spinelessness, has been exposed C. S. Lewis’ book The Abolition of Man, referred to as “Men Without Chests.”

But if we are not going to retaliate against the Islamic barbarism displayed on 9/11 in New York and more recently in Benghazi and Paris, and if we are going to react appropriately to Iran’s malediction “Death to America” and its vow to “wipe Israel off the map”—hence, if we are not going to target Iran’s nuclear facilities and level its intellectual/moral propagation in Mecca and Medina and Qom; and if we are not even going to blockade shipments to and from Iran, the least we can do is identify the nature of our enemy.

Finding the proper words

We must call a spade a spade and cease using virtually innocuous as well as obscure abbreviated names for Islam by calling it “Islamism”—as if it were merely an ideology like Communism, or by describing Islam using such adjectives as “radical,” “extremist,” “political,” “fundamentalist.”

So let’s begin speaking of Islam as an “Evil Empire,” as we did regarding the former Soviet Union. You can’t defeat the enemy unless you define him, and our enemy is not “terrorism” ala Cameron, Bush, and Netanyahu, but Islam per se, unadulterated Islam, the Islam of its founder, Muhammad. And if the West’s political and intellectual leaders lack the candor and courage to say this, despite 9/11 in New York and another 9/11 in Benghazi, it’s the end of Western (or Judeo-Christian) Civilization. Western word-mongers and pussy cats spell doom.◙
