Israel declares war after HAMAS launches unprecedented surprise attack

The State of Israel came under a brutal surprise attack as elements of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Arabic Harakah al-Muqāwamah al-Islāmiyyah, abbreviated HAMAS) attacked several communities in the neighboring Negev, fired thousands of missiles into Israeli territory, and, Israel acknowledged, took prisoner an IDF general in charge of deep penetration.

Israel comes under attack

HAMAS has controlled the “Gaza Strip,” including Gaza City, for more than twelve years. At daybreak today (Israeli time), 5,000 rockets from Gaza hit targets in Israel, according to The Daily Caller. Many of these missiles flew as far north as Tel Aviv. After that, teams of gunmen crossed into the Negev, in addition to other teams that infiltrated into Israel for days. Video footage shows the gunmen crossing the border using paragliders.

The Associated Press reports these gunmen kidnapped many Israelis. Commentator Collin Rugg says HAMAS did more than that.

The $6 billion sum was in South Korea, apparently as part of a prisoner exchange.

Other influencers are saying the same:

Reuters confirmed these reports at 2:33 p.m. EDT. In addition, Israel has supposedly confirmed that Tat Aluf Nimrod Eloni, commander of the Depth Corps, is now a prisoner.

The Depth Corps handles long-range operations deep in enemy territory.

Erick-Woods Erickson published a screencap of the Biden administration’s response. The Office of Palestinian Affairs, according to the screencap, said:

We unequivocally condemn the attack of HAMAS terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.

Influencer Omri Ceren shared that screencap to X, with a scathing rebuke.

The original post is no longer available, because the OPA deleted it.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel formally declared war.

“The enemy will pay an unprecedented price,” he said, promising “return fire of a magnitude the enemy has not known.”

Reaction

Retired Gen. Michael Flynn, in an op-ed at The Western Journal, criticized the “complacency” of the West.

Aluf Ghasan Alyan, presumably the theater commander in the Negev, vowed a major escalation.

Most world leaders condemned the surprise attack.

So did President Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), and several Members of the House of Representatives.

Glossary

General officers in the Israel Defense Forces have three possible ranks, not five as do most other armies and navies. The rank names tat aluf, aluf, and rav aluf correspond, by NATO agreement, to the rank names brigadier general, major general, and lieutenant general in Western armies. Because the IDF is a unified force, it has no separate deck-rank naming system for its naval forces.

The root name aluf traces its origin to the Book of Joshua, and apparently Joshua carried that title. In Hebrew, tat means “little” and rav means “leading.”

Something people need to remember is that HAMAS is an Islam militia doing what Mohammad instructed the citizens of the Islam theocracy to do to- force people to worship the god Hubal via violence or any other means possible. Mohammad did not like the fact that people in Arabia were becoming Jewish and abandoning the worship of his god Hubal. This is one reason Islam has such a hatred for Jews.

The war Mohammad started in the 600s has been going on non-stop for 1400 years. Hamas and other Islam citizens are instructed to engage in violence and depravity to force people to worship Hubal. Keep in mind the Arabic word “allah” is a contraction of the Arabic phrase “al ilah” and means “the god”. It is used to reference Hubal who is historically known as Baal. People need to learn Islam’s actual history, read the Qur’an, and who Mohammad was. Then the depravity, violence, and deviance so many Islam citizens and government officials engage in will make sense. An Imam is a government official not a religious position.

And keep in mind the violence seen in Syria since the 2010 time frame is rooted in the same issue. Most of the people of Syria worship the other gods and goddesses of the pantheon of gods and goddesses that Hubal is chief god of.
